Other lyrics are related to the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s and 1970s for example the "Mountain Top" was MLK Jr.'s last speech but let's remember he had been thrown in jail and the abuses of the Civil Rights protestors as dogs and fire hoses were used to subdue them.
