Forty point is a Alternative Rock band, established in 2009, presently consisting of 2 members.  On keys, Renato Sebastiani from Italy, having played in everything from cover to Funk, Soul & Rock bands back in his homeland of Italy. Renato met Ryan Murphy (singer & guitarist) on a bus ride from Los Angeles to San Francisco in the summer of 2009, where they decided to put together what became “Forty Point”.  More recently, Ryan Murphy teamed up with artist Christy Lee Rogers, in co-writing lyrics for several of the band's favorite tunes.

Forty Point has been playing shows around the Southern California circuit, as they bring something a bit more original, & turn rock music back to where it should be. With catchy synthesized strings & melodies, backed by crunchy guitars, & lyrics that skip the cliche of the current Rock scene. With a taste of Muse & Foo Fighters meets Evanescence, with a dash of Tears for Fears, Forty Point is a band out to break the mold without breaking the Rock Genre.
The hardcopy CD will be released shortly, although the album is now available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify & other fine internet retailers.
