Often quoted as one of the most beautiful and bio-diverse countries on the planet, Colombia is also widely regarded as party central in South America. We return here following brilliant sets from Juan Pablo Torres & Salazar, today we have landed a rare set from another of Colombia's talented artists... make some noise for DaBeat! 

David Barragan (DaBeat)has been fascinated by music and production since an early age, making his first mixes in 2000. In 2004, David moved to Florida to expand his art and find a home for his talents, and he took over the residency of two clubs. Over the next few years at Jackson's (Tampa) & Nocturnal (Miami)David captivated the crowds here with his DJ sets, and shared the spotlight with the scenes relevant DJs and Producers.

In 2010, David returned to Colombia to continue working as a music producer & sound engineer in Bogota. In becoming a master at both it was time for him to begin publishing his productions, his first in 2016. 

Inspired and influenced by melodic sounds, progressive textures and contemporary rhythms, David has seen his work released on a plethora of our scenes top level labels. AnjunaDeep, Proton, Hoomidas, Mango Alley, The Soundgarden, FSOE UV, Particles, Beatfreak, Perspectives Digital, Hope & Perfecto Black are just some of the marques where Davids music can be heard.

In addition, only the scenes elite class DJs are privy to Dabeat's tracks in their music files. Lauded artists from the global progressive scene like Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur, Alex O'Rion, Tony McGuinness, Paul Thomas, Mariano Mellino and Tim Penner are heard regularly spinning David's music.

Combining his pure passion for quality music with a knowledge of the scene few can surpass, DaBeat continues to surprise and excite dance-floor crowds, ever more demanding in their need for new music.. 

The mix is comprised of all of David's music, with collaborations, but as none of it is as yet released we cannot give you a track-list. This is inline with Davids wishes, thank you.
