FortyOneThousand is an exploration of music ripped from its original frequency spectrum and tempo by Vancouver artist and musician David Knights Cowling (The April Fools Childrenhood / DKC Mastering). 

By manipulating the sampling rate of these digital audio files, new timbrel, modal, and structural languages are uncovered. This is an archive of some of the most interesting conversions Cowling has happened upon to date. It will be updated sporadically, inconsistently, and eventually.
