FD062: John Cacciatore (Ancestral Edits)

With discography that dates back to 1991, native New Yorker Henry Maldonado lives and breathes music. Henry started as part of the House 2 House trio on Strictly Rhythm and has been supported by the likes of Masters at Work, Tony Humphries, Roger Sanchez, Timmy Regisford....well, you get the picture, the big dogs dig his sound.

In the mid-90s, his solo work under the Rhythm Section guise was released by NYC stalwart labels Masters At Work Records, Henry Street, King Street and more.

Fast forward to the now, and Henry works under Son Of Sound and has seen his sound hit the homes of Basement Floor records, Local Talk, Delusions Of Grandieur and his own District 30 imprint.

On November 12, Henry will be getting down with Soul Of Hex for the Galaktik affair alongside Galaktik residents at a venue TBD.  Check RA for the listing.

Forward Disco is a New York City-based event focusing on all forms of house music. Forward Disco resident artists: Sean Cormac & Chili Davis continually book some of the premier artists in the music industry including David Morales, Tony Humphries, Danny Krivit, Hector Romero, Honey Dijon, Franck Roger, Mr. V, Kevin Yost, Willie Graff, Jojo Flores, Phil Moffa and many more for their monthly event (based at Cielo since the summer of 2012). Sean & Chili have made appearances at the Def Mix WMC Party, 718 Sessions, Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival, as well as, Good For You’s 30 Years of House Music with Jesse Saunders. DJ Times called their visit to Forward Disco for their party in co-operation with Pioneer DJ & America’s Best DJ a “proper celebration”.
