The new Forwind release comes courtesy of Vienna based artist Jakob Schauer. “In death I am caressing you” is a seven track twist of ghostly disruptions, glitched electronics and vaporous blasts of noise.

In death I am caressing you’s sounds are generated from a wide array of analog and synthetic sources in an attempt to build “hyperrealistic acoustic atmospheres and sonic gestures.

The latest Forwind release will be available in a limited edition Digipak and digital.

Usually you can’t put ƘÏÐ ƉΔŦΛ in a specific genre as he is producing several styles of music. But in this case he is showing us his signature sound he developed over the last 15 years. You could describe his music as electro-acoustic compositions as there is no good name for his kind of music. With a combination of acoustic Instruments, electronic beats and soundscapes his signature sound is melancholically melodic but yet unusualy rhythmic. Growing up with IDM, Brokenbeats and Folk Music this EP stirs it all up and combines it to something new.

Multi-channel field recording of 12,000 Italian bees at Buckeye Creek Farm Cherokee GA.
The setup consisted of four wooden packages of bee's containing 3000 bees each stacked on top of each other creating a wall of swarming noise. 

 Captured with the Neumann RSM 191-A/S and DPA SMK 4060 omnidirectional miniature stereo microphones. Everything was recorded at 24-bit 96khz with the Sound Devices 744T and Mixpre-D. Free Download
