FORZA is Origami Sound’s concept-based EP collection focused on DJ tools and mainly club-oriented music that might not make much sense in a home listening environment. This is not music that you can lounge or have your siesta to. 

Our seventh contribution comes coutesy of young Belgium-based duo Destructure featuring four big-room techno cuts that are bound to be the soundtrack to epic festival and nightclub moments in the hands of like-minded performers. The pair has been producing high energy club-oriented music for the past 7 years and now they're kicking off their new alias with a newly-found stripped down, groove focused sound.

NX1, Isolated Lines, Shawn O’Sullivan, Rommek and Israel Vines remix S.A.F.’s "The Hunter" on Ravage Black Series, from which we are premiering the Rommek re-work.

Dutch imprint and management house Ravage have been going from strength to strength since S.A.F’s inaugural release on their Black Series nearly three years ago. Ravage are widely known within Amsterdam for putting on parties around the Dutch capital inviting the likes Perc, Truss, Pariah, Sunil Sharpe and Bleaching Agent, but are more recently recognized for their agency and imprint representing and releasing music from the likes of Binny, Isolated Lines, Głós, Induction, Hadone, Forward Strategy Group, Zadig, In Aeternam Vale, Dimi Angélis, Tadeo and many more.

Rommek, who has releases on Blueprint, Methodical and Leyla Records provides an atmospheric remix of ‘Unaccepted Perseverance’ that fuses alleviating pads, syncopated grooves and otherworldly aesthetics throughout.

Romance Disaster is Berlin based “woman-machine” live-act, founded by Aga Wilk (former 77™) in 2016. Aga has been making music and visual art for over 10 years, involved in several projects (including her italo disco solo project, called simply Aga Wilk and experimental “space synth” project, Kino Mono). Since her successful debut “BOY” EP (released on David Carretta’s Space Factory Records), she has been collaborating with artists such as for example Adriano Canzian, Millimetric, David Carretta and Hard Ton. As Romance Disaster she has also been actively performing live in Europe performing on venues together with artists such as Adult, Ancient Methods, Kondaktor, Reka, Peine Perdue, Sarin,Radioactive Man, Luke Vibert, Soft Riot and many more. Her live performances are very energetic. On stage, besides vocals, she uses various drum machines and synthesizers, changing them frequently what makes each performance sounding different and special. Booking agency and clothing brand, Orden, launches its first release, Excess of Signs and Meaning by Swiss musician/producer, S S S S.

Excess is the tenth release by Samuel Savenberg who is also known for his work in Die Selektion and Dillon. The record contains four tracks loosely based on material he has been using for his more club-oriented live sets in recent times. The EP contains heavy yet playfully arranged rhythmic patterns accompanied by several variations of Industrial elements.

The title Excess of Signs and Meaning can be seen as a comment on how nowadays Music and Popular culture tries to load itself with Semiotics and Statements seemingly in fear of losing importance.

The Brvtalist is delighted to premiere “Abscissus”, a word which takes its roots from Latin “abscissa” which means to cut off, or to separate.

This second track reflects upon this loss of meaning and loss of understanding about what is important and what is not. This confusion is very well represented through the irregular and deconstructed, or even fragmented patterns we hear at the beginning. So, one can wonder: if everything means something, nothing means anything.

The world is shocked by the current COVID-19 situation, especially our scene worldwide. We spent the past few months like this and who knows when it will be back to normal.
So we decided to join this struggle and release this 16-track fundraising compilation in collaboration with old and new producers, who belong to our label across Europe and Hungary.
All of us worked and participated in order to support one of the last community spaces in Budapest, called Gólya. With purchasing the V/A, all income goes directly to this place.

Gólya is really important in the Budapest scene with its several different community profiles. One of them is a venue, that they operate with a really open-minded attitude, fair deals and welcome various musical genres, like ours. They are still closed, so every kind of funds are a big help for them to survive these weird times.
