I sent Idris the resonator guitar part and he kindly allowed me to have some fun mixing his vocals and guitar with my track. As usual he has blown me away with his voice and his great feel for the blues. 

I really love the way he used my simple guitar part as a platform to approach this cover in a unique way and make it his own.

The guitar in the photo is a 100 year old Dyer that has been refurbished to almost original condition.

I am not the owner but I have played it and it sounds incredible.

Freddy's Groove

A bit of a twelve bar blues ukulele jam from a few years ago. The slide ukulele is my mate Pete, I'm just playing rhythm - this was before I had even attempted to play slide. Pete was a big inspiration for me to learn slide and this is still the best I've heard anyone play slide on a ukulele so I thought I'd give it a home on soundcloud.

A quick sloppy blues improvisation. I started to record something entirely different and wasn't having any success so I decided to let off some steam and have some fun with something a bit easier to play.
