Vince Vance & The Valiants are a country pop and rock and roll musical group from New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. The current Vince Vance, Andy Stone, Wrote this song and is the last original member of the Valiants. He was born Andrew John Franichevich Jr.

This is a cover of one of my favorite Chicago songs written by James Pankow and originally sung magnificently by Terry Kath. I have added trumpet and oboe solos along with a repeat verse with vocal harmony.

This project is a cover of "Eyes Without a Face", a power ballad by the English rock musician Billy Idol, from his second studio album Rebel Yell (1983). It was released in April 1984 as the second single from the album in the US, and June 1984 in the UK. The song is softer and more ballad-like than most of the album's other singles. It was inspired by a 1960 French horror movie, the title of which is sung by the back up singers in the bridge, "Les Yeux Sans Visage". This song was a request of my cousin-in-law, Phil Wine.

It is about a man with the disease trying to tell his friends and loved ones what to expect in the future and to remind them, in advance, that he loves them and won't be able to control his memory and actions.  He hopes they will continue to visit and love him. He knows the victims of Alzheimer's are not just those that have the disease.

Our Country has become so polarized that people from both sides won't even listen to any ideas or opinions that don't match their own. In addition, the passion, love, and pride that people once had for this country has all but disappeared. The progress of Love Your Brother has given way to a growth of Hate as demonstrated by our "Leaders" in Local, State, and Federal govvernments. People walk around with "Empty Hearts" with no room for love or compromise. Where will it end? Where will we get real leadership to bring us back together and make our country the beacon that it used to be? Unfortunately, I don't know! I wrote Empty Hearts to hopefully awaken people to at least ask some of the questions posed in the lyrics.
