I like to showcase the diversity of skilled SA DJs on Hit Refresh, so I don't do it very often, but in early March I presented a live, solo 4 hour set with no plan beyond track one, and ended up lifting my own spirits with a happy, soulful mix. Khulula is Fosta's composition written & performed  by Skullman, Fosta & Yanda Nako. Song was produced in 2006 and was number 1 for 4 weeks on Euphonik's 5FM show in 2007. The song was later remixed by DJ CLEO &  "Siyakhula" & released in Dj MZI's album EZASEMZINI.
This song is more than a decade old but still remains a classic to ever come out of Cape Town South Africa.

I#  On the last hour, the masses weren't complaining about the underground sound, so we soldiered on. KsK keeps the 115BPM tempo but increases the pitch by dropping the likes of Baaz, Ron Trent, Julien Jabre and Pepe Pradock from the Golden era of Deep House. Following this structure, KsK could've continued for another 3 hours, the masses were appreciative and relaxed. Thanks to Lutz from Shisanyama Midrand for the patience and opportunity, we hope to do it again.
