"Bands are releasing their LA "Part Time Punks" radio sessions, and like BBC Sessions, they open windows to quasi-live crunch, only with studio sound. Consequently, this EP becomes the go-to for this Seattle four, eclipsing their fine 2010 debut "Empty Words Fill Lonely Spaces" as C'est La Mort and 2017 self-titled LP. Fotoform's design is still a riot of '80s postpunk, like our Independent Project (For Against, Shiva Burlesque, Red Temple Spirits, Savage Republic) and English 4AD/factory heights. But holy [insert expletive], they sound bigger, louder, more exciting, and insistent! Female singer/bassist Kim House sounds as forlornly powerful as For Against's Jeffrey Runnings circa "Amen Yves," and Geoffrey Cox's and Stephen Jones' windy, shimmering sparkling guitars are as mesmerizing as Choir Invisible's Thames Sinclair or Pale Saint's Graeme Naysmith. All five cuts – including a CLM track and one from Jones' old Red Martian – are so hot, they should return to the Cave with Josiah Mazzaschi and make more." - Jack Rabid

We’d been holding on to this remix by Antwerp, Belgium’s Styrofoam for a special occasion, and we couldn’t think of a better cause than trying to counter the creeping darkness of this era of divisive politics. We hope this remix of “Yves Klein Blue” from our debut record provides a little bit of light in these dark times.

I'm honored to be a part of this beautiful “Compile de Noël” holiday compilation featuring all female artists to benefit women on the streets of Paris. Thirteen tracks of home recordings by a very talented group of female artists (mostly sung in French, which is so lovely.) I chose to cover ”I'll be home for Christmas,” a song very close to my heart. It was a challenge and a joy and I'm so happy to be a part of this beautiful, purposeful project. 
All proceeds go to Féminité Sans Abri
