Unlocked for Plymouth Art Weekender 2020

A collection of short stories about the Tamar Bridge, collected in commemoration of its 60th Anniversary. A wide vareity of tales build a colourful picture of how this iconic bridge has touched so many people's lives. Many thanks to all those who gave their time to be recorded and keep the history of the bridge alive for the next generation.

Voices from the booth - oral histories celebrating the unsung heroes who've kept the Tamar Bridge moving since 1961. Current and former toll booth workers share their personal stories, memories, and experiences of life on this iconic crossing between Devon and Cornwall.

Part of the Crossing Lives project by Fotonow CIC, supported by Historic England's Everyday Heritage grant programme, in partnership with Bridging the Tamar Visitor and Learning Centre.
