October's mix seems to have just emerged with some kind of focus on form. To my ear, the tracks in here all have a bit of structure to them, something slightly angular. There is a geometry to these grooves, they feel like a sturdy frame against which a fabric of texture and melody can wave and morph.

I played music from my entire library having no set list prepared and choosing from both new and old tracks. This is the magic that unfolded. Celebrating 19 years of Pink Mammoth on Saturday was completely surreal and to think this year will be our 20th as a camp at Burning Man is mind blowing 🤯 — what a beautiful journey. The night was made extra special by having some of the original PM family, that is spread across the country, physically there with us in San Francisco. 

And to add the cherry on top 🍒, Tara Brooks being back on the decks with us was a treat in and of itself. Truly a magnificent family reunion in every sense and I am excited to continue the festivities in New York with Tim Green and Alice Iguchi on Mar 18. Until then... I give you this mix and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed playing it.
