With the fourth release of the label we are so happy to share with you our first guest and one of our favourite producers of all time. Ron Wells AKA Jack Smooth, often credited as the pioneer of Jungle Techno presents a new alias, NEU.RON. Three sublime cuts showcase the mans ability to create. He takes us on a sonic journey through deep techno, techno-house and finally through to his signature J-Tek line comprised of eloquently sequenced, crisp sounding drums, rolling bass-lines, and one of kind riffs and melodies.

A1 Essence

Our fifth release comes again in the form of a three track EP. This time delivered by Stefano Di Carlo. The Ep is reflective of the early Italian Progressive movement hailing from Rome and spreading into the rest of Italy. The movement was created mostly by Di Carlo and his accomplices after returning from London where they were living for some years, producing house and techno. This unique sound lays in the grey zone that was created coming back from London, experimenting the new sounds before eventually moving into Progressive and Hard Trance. Stefano first started working in music production studios back in the 80's where highly acclaimed producers in Rome found in him exceptional skills in compositions and arrangements. The skills can without doubt be heard through much of his discography and the wonderful EP he wrote for us.

After a one and half year hiatus we are back with the Foundation debut of a talent who’s always been bound to be part of our family. Matthew Dexter shares with us “Future Radionica:” a special four tracker shaped to ﬁt our output. Straying away from his usual darker trademark sound, Matthew presents an EP full of light and energy to kickstart a path into new territories, both for him and us alike. 

With a bass-line begging for movement “The Future” is made for all types of dancers looking to let loose. Straight to the point and without a hassle, it’s guaranteed to secure energy on the ﬂoor. 

“Quantum Tangerine” brings us into our ﬁrst ambient journey and showcases Matthew’s highly skilled sound design achieved through complex layering, textures, vocal play and advanced audio engineering techniques. 

A mix of diverse 90’s inﬂuences takes us to the next point in our journey “Yantra Radionica.” A bit of Goa, a touch of techno and a lot trance makes this the perfect track for the darker hours of the night. A rolling bass-line tangled to eerie yet energetic sounds make this the perfect ﬁt for one of our favourite contrasting styles, which can best be described as “dark yet uplifting.” 

The best part of many nights are ofen lived in the morning hours, when only the true enthusiasts remain. “Sequoia’s Hymn” is perfect for those bits in 4me where its all about the mu- sic. Like the name suggests it draws on grandiose energies while remaining calm and subtle much like the wind blowing through the forests of the biggest trees on planet earth.

FNDTN Mixes 002 - PJ

Foundation is a multidisciplinary art platform initiated by a collective of like minded music aficionados. First established as a record label in 2017, party organisation and get togethers from their Berlin homestead soon followed. By connecting various realms of electronic dance music; past, present and future, This genre-bending label may give a sense of ambiguity at first, but quickly becomes transparent when going through its discography. An open minded approach pieced together by a common ideology, akin to the minds behind it. With modern tools, delving deep into electronic dance music’s short but vast history has never been as accessible. Thus a label no longer bound to a geographical or periodical framework was born. 
	For a group of youngsters wanting to share their vision with the world, event organisation was a natural path to follow. While always striving to put on top tier productions with a roster of internationally recognised artists, the goal of the parties has never been to showcase a certain level of prominence or a high end cachet, but simply to put on good music, with good people, to ultimately enjoy great times.
