Our next Foundations exclusive comes from Bay Area-based producer DAILON. With several releases under his belt and affiliations with the likes of Resonate SF, Dirty//Clean and Urban Waves, DAILON has been keeping busy throughout his budding career. The talented young artist is constantly pushing his take on the future beat sound, incorporating live keys and melodic improvisation into an already impressive repertoire of original sounds with a neo-soul undertone. 

His tune "Fate" is an excellent introduction into the intricate yet delicate, melodic, layered and rich soundscape that is DAILON's sound.

Our next compilation track comes by way of Russian-based producer Gillepsy. His unique take on the future/garage genre is a culmination of a number of started projects in many different genres (breakbeat/chillwave/hip hop). All of these shine as underlying inspirations in Gillepsy's compositions drawing from a vast pool of musical knowledge and ability. With support from numerous blogs including XLR8R, releases on Russia's Hyperboloid Records label,  current and upcoming remixes of such artists as Pixelord, Julien Mier, BROKEN HAZE, Koloa, and BWWWOYS,  physical releases/ airplay through England, Germany, Canada, Norway and Japan,  Gillepsy shows no signs of slowing down. Gillepsy has supported numerous forward-thinking artists live such as Lapalux, fLaco, Deft and UZ. His recent release "2014: Online Odyssey" via Hyperboloid Records is another solid collection of genre-bending no-boundaries future sounds that is sure to please anyone looking for a fresh take on popular sounds. His Foundations track "iThink" is an excellent example of Gillepsy's diversity, ability and comprehension of structure and melody that a lot of big-business electronic music lacks .

Our newest compilation tune comes by way of Denver-based multi-genre producer MOSIS. Nashville-raised Michael Dermody combines elements of house, hip-hop, garage, future Bass and R&B to craft a musical style that is truly his own. Mosis firmly establishes emotive, melodic groundwork while providing a smoothness and dance-ability that is welcome to any dance floor. Having shared the stage with the likes of Disclosure, Nosaj Thing, Daedelus, Rustie, Lapalux and countless others, Mosis has proven himself to move even the most skeptical dance music fan. No stranger to eclectic releases, Mosis has been featured on international compilations and labels such as Montreal based Booty Bakery, Seattle’s Life Crushed, Sweden’s Pom Peri Possi, and Denver and San Francisco’s collaborative Dirtty//Clean.
His track "Inhales" is a welcome addition to the Foundations Recordings sound, and is yet another landmark along this producer's flourishing musical journey.

Our next compilation track comes via San Francisco based game-designer- turned-producer Grimecraft. His unique take on electronic music combines elements of chip tune, hip hop and lush game soundtrack vibes with the future bass sound. It would be unsurprising to hear Rick Ross acapellas alongside Pikachu and zelda samples in a Grimecraft tune, and equally unsurprising at how seamlessly it all flows together. 
The former game developer hailing from the studio that brought you Guitar Hero has now been playing throughout the US and releasing music for some time now (highlights include the PokeP on label Game Chops, stellar collabs with fellow producer ABSRDST, and recently released cashmere cat remix). "Carpet Panthers" is an excellent introduction into his sound, and a welcome addition to the Foundations compilation. In his own words, Grimecraft is bridging the gap between nerds and cool kids once and for all; and he's doing a phenomenal job so far.

 Our next compilation tune comes from super talented Santa Cruz-based producer G Jones.
known for his unconventional and unique take on experimental future bass/hip hop beats as well as his energetic and vibrant live sets,  G Jones has made quite the name for himself. Since his 2012 LP "Mirage" on the like-minded forward-thinking label Saturate, G Jones has been nonstop touring, releasing EPs, collaborations and remixes all while single-handedly redefining the west coast bass sound. His tune "Terminal 3" is a more melodic and dreamy take on his style. It maintains the G Jones swagger while seamlessly fitting the stylized, harmonic mood of Foundations Recordings. Joe Wendt, better known as jOBOT is a talented and original producer out of Los Angeles and an integral part of the Headtron collective. Playing upright bass since the age of 12 and mastering the styles of jazz funk and soul, jOBOT is constantly pushing his sound forward while evolving musically to previously unimagined dimensions. His tracks span a variety of different genres- anything from dream-like downtempo to funk, electro soul and breaks to epic melodic future bass tunes. he fuses an immense breadth and depth of listening and training with funk-fueled bass playing, smooth vocals, and an ineffable balls-out, experimental, and creative spirit that “jOBOT” encompasses.  His track "Too Much" is a vibey House-influenced take on a classic Luther Vandross classic. jOBOT - Too Much

Seapoint is the alias of currently Barcelona based (formerly Montreal based) producer Rafael Bucio. Aside from releasing his Nautical Day EP on BYRSLF_Division in 2012 and the Lunar Eve single on Infinite Machine last year, he has also remixed the likes of 123MRK, Druid Cloak, iOSounds, Emufucka, and more. . His sound encompasses a multitude of influences from house to hip hop to breaks, always trying to navigate through a variety of genres, and the result is a series of songs that are stylistically rich and diverse. His track "Passeig" provides a perfect addition to the Foundations compilation, balancing and reinforcing the melodic, harmonious undertone and lack of restriction by a single genre. Seapoint will have a new EP out on Barcelona's Tracy Recordings by the end of the summer, and we hope to see more coming your way from him by way of Foundations Recordings.

Currently based out of the Bay Area, producer/singer/guitarist Dave Marquess makes futuristic r&b with original vocals to create a sound he can truly call his own. As the co-founder of San Francisco/Denver based label Dirty//Clean, he has formed a collective of like-minded artists who strive to push the bar in their productions.  His track "Flux Eternal" takes a fresh approach to the purple/maximal sound with a dynamic soundscape of saturated melodies, rattling low end and deep, punchy percussion. Expect to see many more collaborations with the Dirty//Clean collective in the near future as well.
