FERAL & STRAY are a collective of musicians, gathering around Canadian singer Erin Lang in varying line-ups and instrumentation. With a whisper soft voice she displaces the boundaries of pop further onto the distant horizon with moonlight lyrics of the secrets of hearts and meanings of dreams. 

Produced by Mark Lawson, (Arcade Fire, Owen Palette, Beirut, Unicorns & Timber Timbre) the album 'Between You And The Sea'  features guest appearances by Taylor Kirk and Simon Trottier (Timber Timbre), Emi Honda and Kristina Koropecki (Elfin Saddle). Godspeed You! Black Emperor’s Dave Bryant mixed the album’s instrumental tracks.


One For Sorrow (Two For Joy)

This song was created while i was on tour with Agnes Obel. It was a truly incredible experience to play support on these shows and spend those months travelling together. Beautiful cities and venues, i met so many amazing and inspiring people and felt so moved and connected. Many of you came up to speak with me after shows or wrote me lovely letters and so we recently recorded this song, that i played most nights, as a token of appreciation! For Agnes and the whole crew who became family and everyone i met over the last year on tour... Thank you!!

It was inspired by a very brave friend, the maps we find in our bodies, the invisible maps that guide us together and how we survive.
