Originating from Jordan, USA, UK and Palestine, The Four Corners Quartet are one of the only self-composing string quartets who will take you somewhere you may have never been before. An improvising ensemble with a energy unheard to the jazz, Arabic, folk or the contemporary classical scene, they shatter the traditional impression of a string quartet, and celebrate their heritages.

On 4/4, they release their debut EP - The Four Corners Quartet. The work explores new perspectives of their own traditions, spun with Arabic improvisations, Palestinian folk, a sung Native American Choctaw hymnals, to a jazz cover from GoGo Penguin's Mercury nominated V.20, arranged by the trio's pianist Chris Illingworth. The EP is also paired with "Love" an art work by Wissam Shawkat who is revered as a master of contemporary Arabic calligraphy.
