Not really a serious edit.....just a teaser for tonight's Kill Yr idols at Nice n Sleazy. This took less than 30 mins and most of that was getting warp-markers in place before doing slight reshuffle and removing some unwanted sections. No other instruments added. I've always wanted to play this in a club but there's a section in the middle I just don't like so removed it. Enjoy :)

Apache breaks version of Lou Rawls' classic from 1967, initially released as a download on 'The Best Of The Shedits' Vol. 2 EP on Bandcamp, then pressed to 7" vinyl by Dinked Records in late 2018 and now re-issued on limited edition red vinyl in February 2020. Receiving support from funk, soul, breaks and hip-hop DJs worldwide including superstars such as DJ Jazzy Jeff who used on his Vinyl Destinations 45 Tour.

Sounds From The Soul Underground draws together tracks by some of the greatest contemporary acts from all over the globe and working within the genres of soul, funk, afrobeat, latin and jazz today. With a hard to find rarity from Ray Camacho & The Tear Drops, a DJ Format remix of a Speedometer single, brand new, previously unheard material from Nick Van Gelder, Jessica Lauren Four, and The Andy Tolman Cartel as well as a smattering of recent dance floor destroyers from established Freestyle acts and like minded artists and record labels across the globe, Sounds From The Soul Underground provides an eclectic snapshot of the magnificently healthy international underground music scene. 

Whilst the variety of genres included is varied in feel and styles, all the featured artists share a common love of, and are rooted in soulful black music and typify an organic approach to modern music making. 

Many of these tracks have become essential and reliable crowd pleasers in my DJ sets, from Brighton to Barcelona, Lausanne to New York, when open minded people hear these quality grooves it's always the same result, jam packed dance floors, happy faces and weary, tired legs come closing time. Massive thanks to all the contributing artists, labels, and the clubs, DJ's, promoters and radio shows right across the planet who continue to fly the flag for underground music made with heart, soul and simply for the love of the music.

There is alot to say about what stands behind this track. Taking republica and remix there song ready to go wasnt that piece of a cake. I remember standing in a flower shop (dont ask me why) when suddenly it came on the radio and i was like..."ummm...not gonna happen". The next day i was already working on it. took me about a month to get all the pieces together but i think altogether this track has it all in it. Some chilled parts for your toprockin' and a crazy rock break that you will with no doubt teach the fundamentals of killing the floor.

Hey everyone! 
This is DJ Foureyez. 
It’s been a long time since Ive posted on social media. I’ve taken a short break from the Hip hop and Bboy world and it’s amazing to see how fast everything has progressed in terms of the music that people dance to, the younger generation of Bboy’s that are absolutely killing it, suddenly battles have MILLIONS of views and it seems that no matter what - everyone is just having fun, which was the main reason I was so attracted to this amazing and unique culture. 

I am in a chapter in my life where I am able to acknowledge how challenging life can seem to be the more we grow and develop as human beings.  
Today, I’m a father of twins, running a business of entertainment and everyday is a new challenge. The rush of life itself drives me to follow my passions and keeps me motivated and happy. 
I miss the Hip Hop culture. Deeply. 
I miss my crew. I miss my national Israeli Bboy scene and miss the hunger to battle to the top while traveling around the world with my best friends. 
I miss DJing at Bboy events and playing a new track that took me literally hours upon days to produce and hear the crowd cheering as soon as it is played.
Receiving feedback for my music from so many different countries. Truly, an amazing felling of fulfillment and accomplishment. 

Ive moved on in life to a different place, in my heart and also state of mind. I have taken all the education I have learnt through out this time period from our Hip Hop culture and used it to excel in my personal life as an indivudual, as a husband, a father and as a business man. 
To clarify, I still produce music. And I have a passion for it. 
Sometimes it takes longer then it used to be it’s still a passion for me. 
I would definitely want to keep on making and producing energetic music for Bboy’s and Bgirls to dance, cypher and battle to - Mostly for practise sessions where they can get inspired and motivated not to give up and follow their dreams. 

As for today, the type of music I'm working on in would also be suitable for film making and cinema, like my latest track called "Breaking Brooklyn" which is starring in a new film with that same name.  
I believe the my energetic idea's behind the music can work - 
If it’s a crew doing a dance set at "Battle of the year" on stage or a soundtrack for an action movie scene where the hero battles the bad guy, the outcome will match both deviations. 
Thats how I always felt on a battle, as if i was starring in my own movie in front of a live audience. 

At the moment I’m not sure I’ll be back showcasing LIVE on stage as a DJ for Bboy Battles but who knows, with time, things change.

I felt it was time Ive shared with all of my fans where I am standing what is hopefully coming ahead. 
Would love to hear your thoughts and feedback.
