Again introducing 7 new artists to the label including a production debut by Carmen Electro who releases her first ever track and music from Berghain / Panorama bar regulars like Zombies in Miami and Pink Concrete. This VA dives into the many facettes in between house and techno.

@byronyeates goes real deep with his “Aetherius (Deep Zone Mix)”. A minimal, techy deep house cut that drifts between playful, yet serious. Expect those distinct Byron Yeates vibes: hypnotic yet inviting, fun yet mature, and always ready to lock the floor in.

You might know Ben Evers as one half of Adana Twins – but now he’s stepping out solo again, and stepping up. Fueled by the raw energy of electronic music and a deep connection to the dancefloor, Ben blends house, R&B and hip hop influences into a sound that’s both emotional and powerful. Years on the global circuit as a DJ, plus serious studio chops, have shaped him into a truly versatile artist with his own voice and vision.
This release marks a new chapter – a personal statement wrapped in rhythm, built for big rooms and intimate spaces alike. It’s Ben in full control, letting the vibe unfold with every beat.

Joining the ride is Anna Schreit – a Berlin-based DJ and producer known for her fluid style and deep musical roots.
Raised on her father’s art rock and shaped by both the raw pulse of Berlin’s underground and her formative time in Munich, Anna has carved out a name for herself with genre-bending sets and a fearless approach to house and beyond. A resident at Sisyphos, she brings her own flavour to the release with a killer remix that hits just right – slick, unrelenting, and dripping with intent.

Moody McIvor is a Darkwave/Synthwave act fronted by Christopher McIvor from the Gold Coast, Australia, with production support from Felipe Bortoloti (Nørus), originally from Brazil and now based in Portugal.

Formed in 2021, the project blends ethereal soundscapes with pulsating rhythms, weaving together electronic textures and organic depth for a sound that is both intimate and expansive.

The debut release on McIvor’s new sublabel Ronnie’s Records, Shadow Frequencies, is a deeply personal body of work developed over four years and dedicated to the memory of close friend Benaiah Fiu. Each track channels love, loss, and memory through haunting melodies, evocative vocals, and emotionally rich atmospheres.

Melodies shimmer like solar flares, dragging you back through time with analog warmth and cosmic swagger.

Meanwhile, Cracken has taken the controls, slingshotting around Baume’s sonic world to launch us straight into a 2010 Ibiza memory loop. The remix however spins with darker bass orbits, punchy percussive fields, and the progressive touch Cracken thrives in. Rico Casazza opens the release with a standout electro remix - fluid rhythms, a wavy bassline, and catchy vocal hooks push Fille’s sound into elevated, high-energy territory.

Super Tuﬀ 💪 is back on the scene with some drippy tech house deliciousness for you. Introducing… Warden 🚨

Two lovers of all things techy, minimal, and weird—Warden is a collaboration between M. Vaughan and Ireland’s Whoisben. Borne from weekly ritual sessions in Lisbon throughout 2025, Learning Curve is a grass-stained love letter to early 2000’s tech-house. For fans of Swayzak, Loidis, Central, and Herbert.

Prioritizing simplicity, these tracks were made from a heap of samples, a tangle of dropbox folders, and a stack of videos on FM synthesis. This is the sound of two friends nerding out.

"Moonlight" is a synth workout featuring Basic Channel-infused stabs, underpinned by deep tech. "Pensamentos" is a dubby chugger, filled with echo-drenched introspection. "You & I" recalls dreaming while the SSX Tricky 🏂 loading screen plays in the background, thick low-end muscle and cheeky vocals. "Liftoﬀ" sends you on a spacewalk, drifting weightless through syncopated downtempo.

Warden is here, Super Tuﬀ is back, and oh boy does it feel good. 💪

PREMIERE : Warden - Moonlight

Maktub Recording returns with its third release. This time, it's a collaboration between the label's founder, FUNKE, and the canarian DJ and producer Daniel Rodriguez. The synergy between the two artists is captured in this three-track EP that seeks to escape the commercial chaos plaguing the scene, seeking out sounds and sonic escapes born from the soul, while respecting underground culture. 
"Buenos días" is a track influenced by electro, acid, and early 20th-century tech house, with a strong groove and a certain emotional charge. "Áureo" is a melodic and progressive track with an unexpected twist in the middle that will leave no one indifferent. Finally, "Nur die Musik" is a darker and more mysterious track that achieves a melancholic feeling in the listener.


PREMIERE : FUNKE & Daniel Rodríguez - Buenos días

Canopy is a Portuguese based label now in its fourth year, run by New Zealand born Emmanuel Dalton aka Sumosui. Reissuing forgotten tropical gems of synth infused 70s, 80s & 90s funk, disco, boogie and derivatives of these genres that emerged from the creative meeting pots of West Africa & The Caribbean. The other side of the label presents remixes of these vintage works, in an Afro-disco direction, through to contemporary house stylings as well as original works inspired by these motifs. Canopy artists include Captain Planet, Opolopo, Bosq, Aroop Roy, Kiko Navarro, Joi N’Juno and a host of colourful creative talent

Welcoming Lontra to the Canopy family, this release is the first in a number of exciting projects. Lontra is Brazilian born, Colombian based producer, and musician, Guille Katorzi. The inspiration and influences for this project were drawn from diverse sources, including disco, house, Nigerian boogie and Afrobeat. The instrumentals were written and produced in Bogotá with Guille laying down the guitar and bass parts which the songs were built upon. After sending the demos to vocalist Sir Jean (Voilaaa/Sir Jean & NMB Afrobeat Experience), he was thrilled to receive a warm response and travelled to France in 2023 to record vocals in the singers' hometown of Lyon. Returning to Bogotá, a selection of top brass musicians contributed their blazing horns to the project. 

Opening up, ‘Money, Money’ serves up a lively disco beat with percussive Afrobeat highlights, funky guitar licks and Afrobeat inspired horn parts, backed by an irresistible bassline, setting the scene for  Sir Jean's lyrical warning "money cannot buy your soul". Dropping some of the Afrobeat accents and staying closer to the centre line, ‘Life Is Movement’ is a dancefloor focused track where Katorzi's guitar hook pairs with a restless bassline over which Sir Jean's vocal delivery shines. 

The flipside begins with a sensuous overture on ‘Mysterious’. A loose Afro-beat and guitar syncopation provides an inviting space for the horn section's refrains and solos. The arrangement allows plenty of room for the listener to become intoxicated by the groove, before Sir Jean opens his heart with the emotive ode to someone we learn of only as..."Mysterious". Closing out proceedings with ‘The Lyon & The Hunter’, Sir Jean sings a warning wrapped in metaphors while Lontra throws down a club focused punch that dances between funk, house and Afro while the scorching horns set the lot aflame. The culmination of different inspirations and intonations imbues the project with a vivacity and richness in colour that reflects the multi-cultural assembly of players.

Next in and first of the year are Italiano duo, Black Loops. The Berlin and Milan based pair have been making ridiculous movements last year, most notably with their huge release 'SEX' on Toy Tonics which appears to be completely and utterly omnipresent. 

Ricardo and Gabriele aren't slowing down with releases last month on Neovinyl, this month on Good ratio music and an exciting EP on PETS, coming later this year.  

This mixtape is true to their sound with smatterings of swung jacked beats, a tad of Berlin Techno and a pinch of Italian disco.
