The next instalment of our mix series comes from our phenomenally talented Berlin based Canadian chum, Jesse Bru.

Despite only slightly passing the hour mark, in this short time, Jesse takes us through an eclectic array of textures. Taking us through some classics, a spot of jack and a side serving of cheese, this mixtape even takes you down some avenues that the man himself has described as being 'a bit zesty'.

A duo that needs no introduction, Matthias Reiling and Hauke Freer, both great producers in their own right, are even better together as two man house band @SessionVictim. The Hamburg and Berlin-based best friends have been making music together for about a decade but have known each other for the past twenty years.

Notorious sample diggers, the two are able to craft brand new musicals gems with ideas stemming from cratefuls of records which include genres such as soul, funk, disco, jazz & various others. Locking themselves in the studio for days at a time, they are able to consistently come up with infectious dancefloor groovers. With all of that time spent digging for records, it's no wonder that they are phenomenal behind the decks as well, bringing an unparalleled, contagious vibe with them wherever they go.

With two widely successful albums under their belt, Matthias and Hauke have been hard at work on their anticipated third LP. If you've caught them live at any point this year then you have likely heard snippets of what's to come. For the time being though, we're glad to settle for their current Matching Half EP out on Delusions of Grandeur as well as their upcoming solo contributions on XK Records.

With his stripped-down emotional love for music and kind soul, Leipzig-bound beatsmith and all round top geezer Luvless has been steadily cementing his reputation as one of contemporary house music’s finest.

Luvless is known for his work with Rose Records – a label he started with four other friends back in 2011 – and a smattering of appearances on several other labels, slamming down dusty disco edits as well as athomspheric house belters. 

Since 2017 he’s been focussing on his new project Velours Records, a vinyl outlet for different avenues of the Luvless sound and guest appearances by friends.

His music has been described as sweet, gentle even, but banging at the same time. It sometimes pays homage to the old Kerry days with extra magic dust sprinkled on top.

If you can surely check his already long and well-build-over-time discography, beware of his upcoming releases. After the shortly released Tom Jay EP on his own label Sour Edits, he his planning to release his own by 2020 and an EP out on a new project he's cooking for 2020 as well.

As part of our ongoing Legends series we asked Black Loops to make us a Worship mix. The brief was to make us a mix based around the music of either an artist, a moment in time or a musical sub genre which has inspired him as an artist.
Black Loops picked a strand of music that we are heavily into at LV HQ, 90's Italian House. From Dream House to proto Deep House he has pulled together a wonderful selection of tracks

We first had the pleasure of sharing an evening listening to S3A at the Hallo Montag closing party back in 2018... and to be honest, he stole the show. We've since enjoyed premiering a host of his tracks, and that signature sampled house sound.

Although he discovered electronic music in 92 through UK hardcore with DJ as Tanith or Producer, his culture is based on a solid knowledge of house music, soul, funk, hip hop, making him one of the most promising house artists of the French scene since 2009.

He first came to Paris with Zadig to realize his childhood dream: building a studio and later collaboration, Frendship Connection (All is just a matter of time has actually been playlisted by Marcel Dettmann).

His residency at Concrete helped him to confirm his DJ position since the last 4 years adding as well releases on Lazare Hoche Records, Hold Youth, Concrete Music, Local Talk, Phonogramme and Faces. With these releases, his remix for Laurent Garnier on Music Large and his booking request from the French legend to play with him for his residency at Rex club and Concrete, gave him legitimacy and visibility in all over Europe.
