Next into the FH mix series is Florida based, Quavius, an artist that has been perpetually on our radar, ever since his debut LP on Lustwerk music all the way back in 2016. Since then, he has continued to break boundaries with his purposefully glitchy yet smooth vocals, forever gliding on top of his inventively sampled productions.

In light of the recent Black Lives Matter protests that are building momentum around the world, we asked Quavius for his thoughts:

"I recorded this mix a week or two before the protest began from racial injustice here in America. Since most of us were stuck inside our homes due to the Coronavirus, I was listening to a lot of Florida based music as well as sounds from all over that were similar to the style of Miami bass. As much as we are all aggravated with the issues surrounding the world I hope to provide a mix to shed some light for the Summer. I'm just here as a vessel that hopes to influence others to reach beyond means of what they believe they are capable of and stand for it. Whether it's musically, mentally or any other format of expression, keep pushing boundaries."
