On Butter Sessions, Iti presents Colourful Choices, a collision of vivid synth melodies and fractured drum rhythms. The title nods to the multicoloured lights and patch cables of his synths - the primary source of the record's motifs.

The EP opens with the title track Colourful Choices, beginning with a shimmering string-synth that bends and twists into a playful, colourful melody. It's joined by a punchy drum-machine rhythm before descending into a gritty, driving bassline. Exit shifts the energy with garage-electro edge, its weighty low-end anchoring robotic synth stabs before erupting into a heavy 2-step breakdown. Lost in a Tangent moves into more intricate terrain, pairing rolling skin-drum percussion with snappy breakbeats and a saturated chord melody. The EP concludes with Ampersand, where a fragmented lead-line meets a driving four-to-the-floor rhythm section, crafting a shadowy club sound that emerges into moments of euphoria.

In an era of highly-polished production, Colourful Choices sees Iti emerge as a producer unafraid to harness raw sound, delivering music that is tactile, striking, and entirely his own.

In a landscape saturated with maximalist gestures and instant gratification, Not Even Noticed operate in the periphery — a project whose very name speaks to its ethos. The Frankfurt–Leipzig duo have been quietly sculpting a sonic language of restraint and intention since emerging in the early 2020s, threading broken rhythms, trance-infused atmospheres, and acid-washed details into music that rewards patience and deep listening. Their productions don’t clamor for attention; they invite it, revealing hidden layers only to those willing to lean in.

Their latest chapter, the Eteus EP, released this summer on LA’s visionary Fast At Work imprint, is perhaps their most refined statement yet. Drawing on the myth of Eteus — a figure of light and knowledge — the record explores the delicate tension between weight and weightlessness, minimal form and maximal emotion. Across four originals and two masterful remixes from K-Lone and Maara, Not Even Noticed map a territory where low-swung basslines pulse like a heartbeat beneath vaporous melodies, and whispered vocals guide the listener toward ecstatic release. It’s a transmission you feel as much as you hear, a document of artists expanding their craft while remaining faithful to their understated pulse.

To accompany our conversation, the duo have prepared an exclusive mix for Bolting Bits’ MIXED BY series — a glimpse into their current orbit, stitched together with the same care and subtlety that defines their studio work. Over the last couple of months, the records of Berlin-based duo CYRK have become a hot commodity within DJ circles. Their releases on Rawax and Vakant are firm favorites of selectors like Helena Hauff, Alienata, Laurent Garnier, Steffi, Slam, Maceo Plex, Solid Blake or Len Faki. Time Zero, CYRK's new label (together with their friends Flash Fab and Lad Caduceus), marks the next step for the prolific duo.

Dreamscience, Time Zero's inaugural EP, features five tracks that traverse CYRK's influences in style, adding their own trademark twist. Tracks like "Collateral" and the eponymous cut are diving deep into Detroit's electro heritage, while "CS70m" takes cues from classic electronica and IDM. "Automotive" is a throbbing broken beat work-out with plenty of soul. We premiere, "Monument", the EP's closing track, which sonically illustrates a string-laden journey throughout time and space. @Apparel-Music is delighted to welcome aboard one of the most talented house music producers in the scene, @lozgoddard, who’s the protagonist of APLTD012. The twelfth release of the Apparel’s limited catalogue is a brand new 4 tracks EP called “Signals” by the Mancunian featuring a 4-hands collaboration with @harrywolfman and a remix by @jad-lee. Every single track has been chosen carefully since the beginning of the project to make this record a representative work of the artist who perfectly blends his musical knowledge with the label’s imprint. The opening track “Fourth Dimension” is a teamwork between Goddard and the above mentioned Wolfman and is the ideal start with its crunchy, slightly distorted beat, bold bassline and spacey chords and arpeggios, surely a track for the DJ’s out there to play out to a busy dancefloor. A2 is the title track “Signals” and it lowers the heartbeat, displaying all Goddard’s talent on the keys and creating an impeccable fluctuating soundscape of his musical characteristics: the beat is an oscillating, yet solid structure while the different timbres of his synths evaporate and reappear conceiving a dreamy, spacey track. Side B begins with the whimsical chords of “It’s Not So Cold In Tromso” where the artist takes the listener to a brief and intense trip to see the Norwegian northern lights; the track is made by a strong rhythm section and flighty, far-out, harmonies which really evoke Scandinavian landscapes. B2 is a free interpretation of the previous track by the Australian Jad & The who amalgamates a jungle-ish beat to Goddard’s introspective harmonic section telling his opinion on the trip to “Tromso”. "Signals" will be released the 2nd of December on 12” vinyl and we’re more than happy to welcome Goddard to Apparel Music’s family.
