This year marks 15 years since I started my service in the online underground. Time flies when you are having fun right?! I remember when I (as non dj) heard something on the radio back then, that was just it. Nobody put that on soundcloud or youtube for you to listen to again. I was telling myself there must be more people that want to listen to some tracks over and over again. That's how it all started. Ripping tracks from radio shows, uploading some cool tracks that were hot in that time period (remember post-dubstep & future garage?),there were even a few people sending me their music to upload! The moment I started doing the video edits was life changing. Not only for me but for all the people we (music youtubers) made hot in the era of lo-fi house. Happy to see some of them rockin big stages today!

Since then, this has been my everyday, 24/7/365! Paid my dues & made the sacrifices. Was it worth it? Damn right! Though I have to admit that I never intended to start djing myself. I was forced to by the community! I am happy I sold my bike so I can buy speakers and started.

Music took me around the world. With music I met a bunch of amazing people who did not hesitate to spend their money and time just to meet the guy they know from youtube. For this I will forever be grateful!

Like 5 years ago, also this time I have a mix for you! I just wanted to put together a mix full of my all time favorite jams. The result is an almost six hour journey through different genres & styles. I also wanted to include music made by people I have some history with. Baltra, Bambounou, Fjaak, Route 8 or Kettama, to name a few (and a whole lotta more!). Expect a lot of hits! Slow jams, House, Techno, UK sound and more.

2024 gets underway, Oath are thrilled to share the imprint’s latest long play, which comes courtesy of rising star Moonee - and you better believe its a solid gold stunner…

Francois Lefevre, the producer behind the Moonee name - alongside his group projects Twice Movement and Simple Request (with French House royalty Tour-Maubourg) - really optimizes all that is bold and beautiful about the House genre. The release of ‘Wabi Sabi’ on Groovence in 2022, then ‘Primal Groove’ on Slothboogie last year, has already helped Lefevre craft a significant space for himself under the Moonee name. His sound is one of tremendous melodic feel, with a plethora of rhythmic patterns and atmospheres being utilised to help create a bountiful sonic universe. His attention to how the groove unravels and how progression can be used softly but subtly really comes over strong, immersing the listener in a very warm place indeed. As beginnings to discographies go, this start is immensely strong, and one which provides a rock solid basis for all sorts of excellence to come forth.

Two EPs down, and now this fantastic long play. Moonee really flexed his style and craft on this record, one which constantly delighted at every turn, providing an enriching spectrum of sounds that stick true to his production technique and to his craft. Not for one second do you stand still, but merely carried along on a wave of melodic euphoria, simply pleased to be along for the ride. The dips from heavy hitting though to softly spoken at handled so well, and as a result we are left with a pretty damn good way to enter in 2024. Winter has arrived, but warm your heart with this stunner.

i always hated venting my problems out, especially since now i have a community following me, but these recent days and months have been insanely rough. i feel like i owe you a tiny apology because you guys are my community, and i have been kinda lying to you. i always hid myself behind some happy masks and branding to look cool and happy, and never showed that i was someone deeply depressed in real life

i'm 22 (or 23 i forgot) and there is nothing in my life more important than music, i'm insanely introverted, i'm not very good looking, and i feel i'm ruining a lot of things in my life, especially in this extroverted community, it's very hard for me to find my place, but i feel like im improving my talking skills more recently (shoutout Belgium!!)

i paused my life back in middle school, so since then i haven't really been living at all. i feel my life started like what? 3 years ago? because i grew up with emotionless. no real sadness, happiness, love, etc. i never gotten friends either, but now i do now, which is my first time feeling liked by people. 
but when will i ever be loved (like... love love) by someone? obviously time will tell. it has only been 3 years that im discovering how to feel stuff again. my first real friends, my first times being happy, and more recently i discovered the feeling of having a crush (its obviously one-way, but maybe one day? ......who knows!!!)

i'm also very scared my tracks won't work as they used to, but sadly, its the cycle of life, and i need to get used to it. i'm very happy i'm where i'm at right now thanks to you guys support! 
i will keep working on my sounds even if my dream of living from music and djing might be done. maybe its my brain being a dumbass (my brain looooves me), but like i said, i will keep working hard even tho i can not make a living out of it, like i've been doing for a little bit more than a year now! "shut up and work" is what i tell myself all the time

recently i found myself in this cartoon, Peanuts (from the 60s), that i sampled throughout this song. i really love it because it talks about stuff i'm suffering of and it's also very very very nostalgic, and it doesn't feel childish at all because of it (to me at least). this cartoon is very cool, i really suggest it to you all :)

please do not take this wall of text as attention whoring, this is the very thing i hate about venting. i don't really know how to do it but i felt like doing it in a soundcloud description would fit well. i also did it because i think you guys deserve to know What's Going On Here.
i have to say it felt very good getting this stuff out of my chest for the first time, hoping someone will find themselves in these lines so they can say they're not alone.

i'm insanely lucky to have you guys as a community, i can not ignore the fact that my reach is very good on socials because you all are always there for my stuff, thank you.

also last thing, i never had any diagnosis for any mental issues, so if i do have something its out of my knowledge therefore i'm not gonna say i'm this and that without being sure of it.
