Inspired by primary elements - Water and Earth - and the life of their mysterious polymorphic inhabitants, Hydrozoa and Arthropoda are thought as odes to the mystical and inexplicable forms of Nature. Reduced to the essence of what makes the humanity dance and feel, these magical enchantment gives you the ability to metamorphose.
Gaya Scienza / Global Serotonin Therapy
Some tracks remain silent in any context, but a few productions have the ability to « sing ». Global Serotonin Therapy and Gaya Scienza are the fruit of reflexions following nights out. Outside, walking in the cold, or comfortably seated in a morning train, the body still resonates with the rhythms of the night. The mind gets lost in a world of refrains and incantations, lulled by kicks and snares.

At latest Chat Manik party in Nantes, a DJ was unfortunately sick - hope she well recovered since - & that's why I received a call while the event had already started to replace her last-minute on the so-called 'peak-time' duty. I was also recovering from the night before but anyway, what better way to end up my birthday weekender ¡

Not knowing the organizers yet - thanks to them for the warm welcome & the perfect playground - 
I arrived into that big room fùl of ravers and decided to go(a) all-in with the last drops of energy I had. 
It ended in a crispy journey into trance with dancers wavin' & smilin' in front of that hævy soundsystem while apparently, some cops were 'kindly' asking to lower the volume at the en-trance, loved the spontaneity and the raw spirit of that moment :)

Rogue Planet is about feeling like an “other,” like a planet ejected by its host planetary system. It is a personal journey encapsulating Shamanta’s South Asian roots and influences. Visuals are by internationally-known artist & muse Rajni Perera, “a painter and sculptor known for exploring how power works through the imagery of science fiction.” The album reflects Shamanta’s early life experience as a South Asian immigrant who has journeyed from the Middle East to North America, living in several different cities along the way. Adapting spiritual influences of the past, it seeks to preserve cultural relics in a future unknown. It features her 90-year-old aunt’s Indian Carnatic vocals along with hers, connecting the generational gap.
WeTurnToRed (a.k.a. Shamanta Chandran) is a Syrian-born Tamil-Canadian producer/DJ/ singer/songwriter and scientist based in Toronto. Growing up on the city’s outskirts, she studied and classically trained in opera and jazz as an arts high school kid. Her deep love for electronic music was ignited after her older brother introduced her to the mid-90s Toronto rave scene.
After experimenting in the studio for over a decade, delving into melodic nuances of modular and analog synths, it was clear that growling basslines and haunting melodies were the subjects of her affection. She made her mark in Toronto’s electronic music scene through live hardware deep house/techno-focused sets. As a DJ, she is a quality selector of many genres—everything from hip-hop, reggae, house, techno, and what’s in between.
Some notable music releases include Planet E Detroit Love-Vol 5, MSTRKRFT’s ORO Records, and Cosmic Resonance (Toronto). Her debut EP, “Smoked Glass” on PITS (Detroit), garnered acclaim, leading to features on Stamp the Wax and Rinse France to name a few.
As a South Asian woman in the electronic modular space, WeTurnToRed is an artist to look out for.

A heady fusion of rock’s steely drive, cosmic trance, wiggy acid basslines and cavernous dub, Talk is at once rooted in the turn of the millennium while sounding utterly outside of space and time. A combination of coveted un- and self-released material, the record features a remix, specially commissioned by Betonska, from Naone.
Jin Won Lee (이진원), otherwise known as Gazaebal, is a Korean producer and DJ whose sensual, spacious approach to electronica is rooted in his background as a sound engineer. Having begun his career in New York, in recording studios working with the likes of the Wu-Tang Clan and Janet Jackson, his expansive creative repertoire further includes media art and chart-topping K-pop. A member of Tacit Group, a collective creating algorithmic and audiovisual performances, Gazaebal is presently best known for ambient-adjacent soundscapes, yet in the halcyon late 1990s and early 2000s, he synergised a uniquely potent take on club music.
The titular track was initially released in 1999 on the independent imprint dmstrax, established by Gazaebal’s agent and wife, Nine. First appearing on techno@kr, a compilation CD dedicated to Korean electronic musicians, ‘Talk’ is an hybrid, electro-punk anthem. Colliding sung-screeched Korean lyrics with heavy breakbeat, its abrasive textures are delivered with ultra-slick orchestration. Halfway through, the jittery breaks collapse, reprised by momentous four-to-the-floor. It’s this dichotomy between poise and power that characterises the record as Gazaebal flexes his ear for intricate melodies and rocketing build.
Composed alongside Big Hit Productions founder and BTS songwriter Mr. "Hitman" Bang, the original version of 'And So On' was not available for re-release due to licensing difficulties. But thankfully the multitrack was well preserved. Utilising these components, Nawon Ha (AKA Korean-but-Netherlands-based artist Naone) re-imagines the song for Betonska. Remixed with her own hypnotic vocals, she inflects the track with mesmerising, multi-layered dimensions; a fractal, downtempo trance number that connects two generations of underground electronic musicians from South Korea.
From the pulverising kickdrum of ‘Gilda’ to ‘Spiral's acidic dub fuzz, Talk moves between sharp crests, twists, and turns, enveloping driving 4/4 and shuffling half-time. Presented as a mix-friendly mini-album, the carefully selected 6 tracks are ideally tailored to DJ-level quality and loudness. As much suited to the psychedelic rave scene of yesteryear as they are to contemporary dancefloors, Gazaebal’s productions are defined by his idiosyncrasies. Melding the sheen of tight-production with a flagrant DIY spirit, his music assuages the high-commercialism of the 2000s, resulting in a sound that’s as definitely punchy as it is intoxicatingly precise.

Belaria & Friendsome are delighted to present her new remix EP of the track Burning Inside.
After last year’s great success of her debut EP ‘Boost & Doubts’ we decided to ask 4 great artists to remix the track Burning Inside, as it is the most personal one that resonates in her soul. 
This EP starts with a highly epic remix by French precursor Rebeka Warrior. Her take on Belaria’s song is as surprising as amazing, taking us to a profound electronic ballad, full of emotive and harmonious sounds.
It is followed by up and coming Dj and producer Miguel de Bois, who’s interpretation of Burning Inside brings your brain cells back into a retro futurist vibe of the 80’s. We are still wondering how a down tempo remix like this can feel like a banger to us !
Number 3, by one of France’s main new talent Desire, makes the EP fall properly into the club. The mix of sounds and styles living in that remix makes it so special, and is set to put dance floors on fire from start to end.
Last but not least the most famous Mexican duo Zombies In Miami have done what they do best, an amazingly produced track in there EBM / Italo style, which will once again not leave any dancer unsatisfied, whether in front of a sunset with your feet in the sand, or in a dark & sweaty basement.

La Rama is back on wax with two original compositions from local producer/DJ Rig Thrall. We first linked up with the Rakya crew member at the shop and soon after released his music on a limited run 10” named ‘Exit 19’ via our La Rama Dubs sub label. We kept in touch, and when an assortment of unreleased material caught our ears, we quickly jumped on the opportunity to get working on this 4th record on our label.

‘Broken Guru’ drones and grooves you through the cavernous depths, out in to the open, where the clouds part and a voice reaffirms that you are on the right path. From here we dive back into the depths, with the full confidence that this is the right path.

Thanks to two Roman legends, we have variations on the theme of ‘Broken Guru’. Marco Passarani delivers the masterful hyper dance floor club dub with his many years of experience clearly on display… play it out and you will see that this is some kind of sorcery. In speaking of magic, we are honoured to have the one and only Lory D serve us up a bass heavy re-interpretation, recorded in one pass through his live rig and edited to perfection.

‘Acidly Dose’ is the second original from Rig Thrall, an acid infused beat of the highest order with all the necessary elements to give the room a communal high.

To be released on Ransom Note Records and marking the debut album of Wave Arising project , "(The) Rooted Sky" is an invitation to an initiatory journey where intuitions are channeled into grooves and otherworldly sonic landscapes . A sound where intense rhythms meet circular expansions .

From various improvisations, the experienced & avant-garde musician Sebastian Vaughan decided to take a fresh look and avoid the use of sampling third parties by crafting compositions .

An approach to music as a spiritual path driven all the way long by psychedelic dubby vibes , acidic frequencies & hypnotic repetitions coming from his sound-system culture heritage .

While the tracks "It Comes and Goes" , "Ronde Cinétique" , "Electric Shrine" and "Golden Black" draw contemporary almost cinematic ambiences with vibrant and spacious feelings , "Monin Yiri" , "Sound Loves Dance" & "Grow with the Flow" represent a series of energetic deconstructed leftfields , with the omnipresence of a singular tribalism that emphases the african side of Wave Arising .

On its own "Music without chains" is , as the title underlines , a joyful jam free from any boxes or attempts at confinement .

Finally "Subconscience" arrives like a probe , a dreamlike piece full of endless reverbs from Kynsie's voice ; generating mysterious environments and resonating directly with "Soul Whispers" .

Taking on the challenge of fusion , "(The) Rooted Sky" asks the listener to open up through a collection of progressive tracks reflecting the core of Wave Arising’s spirit : Music & Body as a portal . Through this consciously chosen wide range of dynamics , the producer shows his musical ability to create an unique sonic palette yet staying true to his own personality .

Regarding the cover, the outside is a minimalist yet symbolic photograph of the duo’s hands. As for the interior, Wave Arising is very grateful to welcome primitive artworks by the talented artist Rapoon , one of the founder members of the legendary group Zoviet*France . Continuing with this global vision of intertwined arts, the videos accompanying this record are created by Wave Arising .

Ultimately , the recurrent animistic vibes of "(The) Rooted Sky" give to the album a spiritual ethos directly driven by the book of Nature reminding us that, we are all connected to the Source .

Whatever the "Source" means for each one . . .
