Time for something sexxxxy and spacyyyy from the secret underground house area. Gnork and Luv*Jam have been working together for more than 5-6 years now, doing lots of gigs, remixes, collaborative EPs, appearing on various compilations. They have always worked a little bit more than what they let us think, accumulating tons of unreleased gems. The time has come to reveal some hidden goodies and we're proud to be premiering one of these secret blorpers from their new EP 'Bonus Blorps', out on Crow Castle Cuts.

The original Blorp93 yellow vinyl surfaced in 2013 and was championed by the likes of RVDS, Bradley Zero, DVS1 and Wolf Music. Since this time, there have been a few secret cuts floating around here and there, some of which lots of people were 'demanding' to be pressed. Your prayers have been listened, those very secret Blorpers are here on one precise 12", and for starters you can listen to 'Sexxxx in Space' from Gnork's infamous Lost In Budapest Mixtape. Luv*Jam completes the secret space circle with some special dream nips. Fine are very pleased to present Tales And Reactions, the inaugural long player on the imprint by label co-owner Tilman. Alongside his partner Johannes Albert, the guys have put together an impressive string of releases so far on Fine, focussing on their own material. But this sees them moving into the extended format for the first time and with magnificent results.

Tilman has a long track record of putting out deep, excellently produced house music, but on Tales And Reactions he really comes into his own. The album is all about mood and feel, and each track is set up with a rich mix of samples and loose drum grooves to create warm and hazy vibes. The focus is on deep and spacious house cuts, weaving lazy pianos and half heard vocals. There are, however, plenty of dancefloor moments on the LP, with the chunky rhythms and disco strings of “Broken Dreams” or the filtered funk of “Chasing Rainbows”. The result is an album that takes you on a journey through different shades of house music, from a superb producer.

PREMIERE: Tilman - Three Sunsets [Fine]

Slow and smooth build up with an intense but mellow peak that just goes on and on. It fills you with empathy and intense sensation heightening. SWIM smoked a joint halfway through and melted into the couch. It’s perfect for a rolling party with a group of friends, though SWIM imagines it would be great for a proper party too. Sometimes SWIM felt like dancing, but spent most of the time staring into space. This is really nice, intense, smooth and mellow. Get ahold of these if you get the chance!

Note: Your experience will vary depending on your settings. If you're in a bad place with bad people, you won’t feel a thing.

Chaos In The CBD - Green Dove

Grant returns to the fray, armed with a four tracker, typically clean and vibsey enough to slip on your turquoise Crocs and start meandering around your kitchen/diner. This time, he's on yet another @Lobster-Theremin sub-print, @SITUrecords with their second release, 'The Long Game EP'.

'Second Life' is definitely the most introvert cut on the record, carrying dulcet tones, zenned out pads and emotionally charged vocal sweeps. The title perhaps a nod to the Saturday morning De Ja Vu through blurry eyes in which the introspective textures provide a perfect accompanying soundtrack to. Swear I've been here before.

Kousto, former DJ and producer at Hoxton FM, delivers a collection of lush and dreamy material via his debut 'Step By Step' EP, which features the floating deep house cut 'The Old Days'.

Described as a sound evoking the sea and golden sands of the Côte d'Azur, the 'Step By Step' EP encapsulates Kousto's style with musical waves and analog sounds mingling to create playful, summertime vibes.

The release also serves to launch Kousto's new imprint Little Foot Records. The London based French talent had this to say on the label's focus: "Little Foot Records aims to work with producers who are expecting something new, we want to learn and share our projects with our friends and people who share the same passion. The joy of listening to a great song is the only criteria. Producers have to feel free to create and dream to share their music with the world."

The  'Step By Step' EP is set for release February 1 via Little Foot Records.

Premiere: Kousto 'The Old Days'

The inaugural release of air miles is introduced by Jeigo with his "An Ode To Midnight" EP which was written and produced in the Spring of 2018, between the cities of London and Paris.

The tone is set from the off with the eponymously named first track of the release 'An Ode To Midnight'. The tracks mellow break beat feel is met by warm rushing pads, ebbing and flowing between textures of the night before last.

After breaking through on an international scale last year, Dutch DJ and producer @musicofperdu clocks in on Detroit Swindle's @heistrecordings with the anticipated follow-up to his exquisite debut solo effort, 'Mystical Choices', issued a few months ago on Let's Play House.

Wallflower continues her exploration of feminine archetypes: possessive love, the power of creation itself and here she calls on Baba Yaga the fearsome bloodthirsty hag capable of ruthless destruction and loving nurturing. I’m sure some of you have met her or indeed been possessed by her. 
She tests the limits of endurance and presents the challenge of darkness. At first it seems a sad tale and yet we all know that you can’t have the light without the dark - with destruction comes rebirth.

The package includes some strong reworks. Julian Kendall, dj/producer based in Detroit, gives us a deeper journey trough his “lo-fi mo-town sound”, a reflection on digging through record bins and messing around on old keyboards and drum machines. Nandu combines raw percussions with an intense synth line to build the tension and giving a great energy. Following the success of his ‘U, Me and Madonna EP’, 1-800 Girls reworks the song adding his signature sound made of broken rhythms, warm bass and some smooth pads.
