Pev swiftly follows up the Pulse EP with another four tracks of sprightly club gear that continue to shape out his current areas of exploration in the studio. As ever, there are no fixed concepts or approaches - just an instinct for energising, inventive tracks taking in a range of tempos and rhythms.  

The first half of Pulse Modulation EP is marked out by linear rhythms which showcase the most techno aspects of Pev’s sound. ‘Pulse V’ is charged with the kind of alien synth lines which could only come from his studio, but also draw a line to the hi-tech soul of foundational Detroit techno. ‘Pulse VI’ has a starker, bleep-led sound pitched towards tougher dancefloors. 

’Pulse VII’ strips things back in comparison, leaning in on a blanket of bass and keeping the drums sparse and to the point - a study in soundsystem pressure.  Widening the spectrum of the record, ‘Pulse VIII’ sees Pev make a rare push up into 160+ territory - something normally reserved for his DJ sets. Swerving obvious break edits, his take on jungle is lean and crisp, delivering a fresh slant on the sound while maintaining the sharp focus of his current output.

Marking the second EP of the year for London based label Vief, Once You Pop is a bass driven two-tracker by Product Toss.

With the two tracks set at 125 and 145 BPM respectively, this short but sweet release packs one hell of a punch. Equal parts eerie and menacing, the listener is treated to two gigaton basslines and a multitude of sharp, crisp percussion throughout.

After over a year since his debut as a producer, we are proud to present "Limerence," the second album by the Mancunian artist Lucas SM. "Limerence" is more than an album; it's an emotional state that shines in a whirlwind between worlds and genres. Comprising three tracks, each one is a distinct chapter in an emotional journey, whether it be a feeling of euphoria or introspection.

Portraying Lucas SM's distinctive ambient influence, smooth pads, shimmering keys, and a massive soundscape effortlessly evoke a profound connection between the music and the listener. Galician producer Andrae Durden contributes a trance-infused, gated version of "Lucent," while Bristolian Pluralist treats us with an euphoric, ever-ascending remix of "Within Touching Distance." Last but not least, Brighton-to-Bristol, now London-based Syz delivers a rhythmic and percussive banger version of "Within Touching Distance."

"Within Touching Distance," the album's first single, is now available for pre-order on Bandcamp and for streaming on all platforms. The full release of "Limerence" will be on November 29th.
