Nerve Collect goes global with its new and futuristic Machine Learning EP - a thrilling blend of worldly rhythms and twisted electronics from New York based Brazilian-American producer Doctor Jeep aka Andre Lira available as 12” vinyl and on all digital platforms.

Lira is a producer who is able to weave together threads from many different genres into his own new forms. His forward-thinking sounds draw on everything from drum & bass to techno, dancehall to electro, always with an unwavering focus on the dance floor. So far they have come on the eclectic likes of Medellin's TraTraTrax, Berlin’s SPE:C, and his own label DRX (amongst others).

The 6 tracks on this EP showcase Jeep's variety, from the distorted kicks and zippy synths of 'Machine Learning' and 'Mad T', to more straight forward 4x4 techno/tech-house crossovers of 'Shake The Club' and 'Largatixa, to futuristic grime mutations in 'Phase Morph' and ravey dancehall of 'Oil Drum' featuring Montreal-based SIM.

This is another fresh and unpredictable EP from Nerve Collect, although its impact on the club is very predictable: pure carnage.

"Craquages Collectifs is the crazy project of the three troublemakers ergen101, Meli Mena and BisouBisou, which aims to help the victims of the 'metro-work-dodo' system by creating spaces where they can freely express everything that everyday life prevents them from letting out. Driven by a mad ambition to establish themselves as key players on the Parisian Bass and Break scene, they called on a hand-picked selection of the scene's flourishing artists for their very first Various Artist. In January 2023, the village of Lützerath in Germany was occupied by activists protesting against the expansion of a local coal mine. From the beginning of the movement, the infamous police watchdogs arrived to try to interrupt it. But they didn't expect the grand arrival of the Mud Wizard, who, like Gandalf the White arriving on the seventh day in the East, would change the course of the battle. 

This track, while primarily paying homage to this courageous sorcerer, also attempts to musically translate the events of that glorious day. The voice of the wizard rises gradually, disregarding the muddy synthesizers and transforming them into devastating spells, soaring above a chaotic terrain and striking their targets with thunderous percussion. 

In this muddy jungle, you will find yourself dancing skillfully above the clumsy and bewildered pigs, lost in the subs, and you will look down upon them, saying: "You have no power here.""

With 'Continue' Amsterdam’s rising star @teqmun-tijmen-b serves up a stripped down, cleverly chopped and arranged bass music track that’s highly electrifying.

In pursuit of the balance between his passion for green life sciences and electronic sound design, Teqmun pushes his sound to be constantly shifting between crisp organic textures and snappy driving drums. The electrifying frenzy of colourful synths and energetic percussive elements that are composed keep his music undeniably compelling.
