here comes the third volume of my 'glistening club music' series. the 3-tracker comes as a bandcamp exclusive as usual. all tracks are made for and tested on the big soundsystem and have been accompanying my sets for a while. love to finally hand them out to everyone!

When nested breaks and complex harmonies slide into each other, the genre boundaries of electronic beats and hip hop blur seamlessly, the creativity of Erfurt artist Koju blossoms. 

Hardly a bar resembles the last, driven by detailed timbres & rhythmic variations. Dirty drum fills, filter rides & a detour into the depths of the tides are laced together by the up-and-coming artist in this album as well as amen breaks and funky lo-fi nuances.

SAM started stepping out of the shadows rather recently. With monthly guests on her “Whatever Floats Your Boat” show on @callshopradio she has been introducing a musical vision since the beginning of the last year and also showed the more floor oriented side of that vision with her booking for the “II. Reihe sleepless” stage at @tarmac-festival. When she  plays, a lot can happen but most of the times it touches the soft spots. In her own DJ sets she carefully brings together a wide range of laid back styles from different electronica and lately she’s been getting a little housier.

Januar is a dj based in bochum, germany. he co-hosts spark, a regular techno night at schlegel kultur club and has been putting out quite a lot of mixes recently that we really enjoyed, which is why we asked him to record one for our november broadcast aswell. In his sets, he blends techno, breaks and trance elements to create hypnotizing yet energetic atmospheres. hear for yourself — we hope you enjoy as much as we did!
