Hailing from The Netherlands, Martijn van Dam and Frank Visser are two friends that have been producing music together since childhood. Both have been making waves lately with their exceptional "Not The Same / Sakura" release. This time they are back, and debuting their two new tracks on Mind Over Matter Records.

Call Me and Gamma Five are two genre-bending dancefloor destroyers that combine deep dancefoor-friendly grooves with melodic and atmospheric bliss. Call Me combines various organ-played melodies and pitched vocals into a catchy groove, where Gamma Five uses distorted stabs and pianos to create an even fresher take. Both tracks have that exceptional groove that only Four Days and Levitone are able to cook up in their studio.

On remix duties is Katrin Souza and Niko Lindhé. Katrin Souza has been on fire ever since her La Guitarra release earlier this year and remixing the likes of Scotty.A and LTN on Enhanced Progressive fame. Her remix brings a high-octane and deep progressive roller taking a more atmospheric approach to Call Me. Sweden's own Niko Lindhé, who recently debuted his "Golden Rays" release on LuPS records, has put his own mark on Call Me as well, influenced by both progressive chords and hints of 80s vibes, but still remaining that deep, melodic vibe of the original.

Frank Visser a.k.a. Levitone is no newcomer to the scene. After releasing multiple EP's last year with his long-time partner-in-crime Four Days on labels like Intricate, he now presents his first solo EP, showcasing the full range of his style.

The uplifting "Elemental Drop" is a solid progressive banger, with carefully woven layers of pianos and vocal chops, topped off with a catchy, haunting lead. The deeper and more moody "Crossroads" completes the release.

Remixes come from Four Days, providing a more introvert, deeper take on Elemental Drop. And last but not least, Norway's own Mykleby who turns the track into a melodic progressive gem.

Dutch producer Four Days provides his first contribution to our imprint with "U Know It," a 2-track collection of impressive deep and progressive house cuts.

"U Know It" takes off with a frisky beat and well-crafted background melodies. A lush piano line is introduced in the break, which is later accompanied by memorable male vocal stems and hypnotic bassline riffs. In "Pathfinder," a lovely groove is quickly established, including lush pad layers and intricate piano chords. Later, mesmerizing female vocal effects emerge, and the captivating effect of the piano notes is only enhanced by fascinating arpeggio layers.

In the early part of 2017, Arthur Minnahmetov, launched into "Oblivion" with a well-received twin-track offering. As Particles now returns to the title track, a pair of new remixes from the Netherlands and India see Minnahmetov's work renewed.

Hailing from the hubbub of the cosmopolitan Dutch capital, Martijn van Dam has become an artist of rising repute through his Four Days production moniker. Specialising in "deep and progressive house", the Dutch producer has seen a clutch of releases allied to some of the finest modern dance imprints. An original EP for the renowned Intricate Records over the course of mid-2016 opened an impressive account in the Deep House genre, before an appearance on Embliss' Mind Over Matter with the "Call Me / Gamma Five" EP, alongside childhood friend, Frank Visser and his Levitone pseudonym. "U Know It" was a further, notable release for the stylish Silk Music as Four Days now makes his debut for Particles. 

Remixing the title track, Four Days' remix is a typically stylish affair. Taking its audio foundations from Minnahmetov's work, a raft of additional production material enhances the melodic undertones of the original and provides a bouncing rhythmic/bass groove, reminiscent of Way Out West. Pulsating pads vie with shimmering lead lines in a remix that showcases Four Days considerable talent and technique.

An artist with a varied and impressive career within the dance industry, Kohra became the first Indian producer to feature in the Beatport charts. In addition, Kohra has found himself allied to a host of high-calibre imprints with his "raw analog signals and lush soundscapes…percussion sounds and sharp glitches". A DJ of renown across his Indian homeland and endorsed by such brands as Blackberry and Puma, performances in Dubai, Italy and Australia have further enhanced a growing reputation on the world stage with his unique blend of deconstructed original music and live instrumentation. In conjunction with production partner, SHFT, the pair have set up the successful Qilla Records with SHFT himself responsible for a host of notable production credits, many alongside Kohra. Patent Skillz, Tulipa and Traum have thus featured the duo's work while a clutch of production credits for their own Qilla, has continued to augment an evolving reputation. 

Making their debut for Particles, Kohra and SHFT have created an industrial, techno flavoured offering that echoes Kraftwerk with its rapid-fire beats and angular bass line. Paying tribute to the melodic lines central to Minnahmetov's "Hole" and extending them in new and vibrant directions, Kohra and SHFT have created a dynamic new interpretation that pays tribute to the Russian's work while leaving the listener in no doubt about their own production credentials.

Two new remixes from Four Days and Kohra and SHFT have seen Arthur Minnahmetov back from "Oblivion" with a bang.

Stendahl (Russia) and Ai Takekawa (Japan) team up on "Soldiers," an emotive and unique chillout tune. On remix detail, we have Dutch producers Manu Zain and Four Days, delivering downtempo and progressive house remixes, respectively.

The Original Mix takes off on a blissful note, courtesy of intriguing piano strokes and captivating sound effects. Ai's mesmerizing vocals soon enter the mix, while subtle percussion elements build underneath; the chorus proves to be a stunning aural experience when Ai's vocals shine atop the soothing soundscape.

Dutch label veteran Manu Zain provides a delicious remix, which begins with delightful background arpeggios and subtle sound effects. A rather well-structured array of percussion layers provides additional texture, as the song progresses.

Four Days delivers a strong progressive house remix, taking off with a haunting atmosphere, featuring captivating synth stabs and intriguing chord variations. The level of detail is incredibly high in this one, rendering it an enjoyable and truly extraordinary listening experience.
