Seattle based Quadrant sets the bar high with his first Dispatch EP, entitled “The Microsleep EP”, otherwise known as “MicrosleEP” for short.

Collaborating with different artists on each track, a distinctive Quadrant signature groove strikes the lower frequencies throughout the EP. With fellow collaborators Iris, Kid Hops, Cease, RoyGreen & Protone all bringing their own specialist touches to the mix, the EP resembles a mixing flask from a meddling scientist; collating individual resources and including all the intricate details and calculations to create a lethal strain at 170bpm and up!

Quadrant, Kid Hops & Iris lead the EP with title track, "Microsleep", a dark insomniac that comfortably sweeps through a 4am dancefloor without hesitation. Their very first collaboration on Dispatch LTD “Convergence” receives the remix treatment too, as DLR & Ant TC1 join forces to “Re-Converge” on the original, masterfully tuning up the already malicious hub and re-igniting the drums into a new more stepping, switched-up take on a superb original from Seattle's finest.

Exclusively aired on BBC Radio 1Xtra, the momentous moans of "Genesis Wave" follow soon after, rolling ruthlessly and re-fueling at every break, before a cascading helix of sub-low pressure carries ice cold "Warsaw" into battle. To complete the EP, "Right Now" written alongside talented Austrian duo Roygreen & Protone delivers that final, lethal blow, as arcane musical elements curiously harmonise, only to contrast spectacularly with a pulsating bassline drop that almost blows the lids clean off the speakers.

The next track is «Lurk». A techno influenced work from UK duo Thrones. 
Thrones is a new alias from Variations guys, known for their dubstep releases on Dub Police. 

Oray - Drujina is another techno/house influenced track by Anton Rayo, the resident from legendary Moscow club Arma17. He’s taken Oray alias to realize his musical ideas with broken rhythms.

The next track is «Invasion» by Eugene Fade, the owner of the «Faded Music» label. This track has all the bits of the old-school breaks, techno imprint and even unexpected flirtation with fashion trends. Experiments have turned out bold and DJs and dance floors are intrigued. 

David Surie completes the compilation from Dnepropetrovsk with a track named «The Green Light». Dnepropetrovsk has always had talents in drum & bass, so from our side we do give these new discoveries a green light. 


It looks like 22:22 has become a magnet for new aliases, experiments, talents from various cities, countries, cultures and genres. Anyway, the main thing is good music. Enjoy.

The ‘Dispatch Dubplate’ label represents a new series of releases from Dispatch that focuses on special remixes of past tracks as well as new material with an emphasis on the ‘dubplate’ cutting culture of days gone past that we feel has been missing across more recent years as part of what was once a very vinyl / acetate led scene. The vinyl format itself will play an important role, with exclusive ‘dubplate only’ tracks featured per release in the series all pressed on a strictly limited, one time only x 300 press without any release specific artwork, to retain an air of mystery to every new release.

The first release is a family affair; Break returns to Dispatch to deliver a sublime remix of “The Formula” by DLR, Hydro, Mako & Villem from last summer. Already receiving multiple plays by Friction on BBC Radio 1, the remix causes major damage on the dancefloor, as Break’s signature drums encase a rigorous sub bass assault. 

For the second track “Direct Approach”, both ‘dubplate’ and digital versions of the track will appear on each format with the dubplate mix of the track only appearing on vinyl; it’s a hotly anticipated debut link up between two extraordinary talents, Xtrah & DLR. A clash of 2 production titans, this was always going to be a rowdy collaboration; and it’s one we’re proud to debut as part of this exclusive series of releases.

The ‘Dispatch Dubplate’ label represents a new series of releases from Dispatch that focuses on special remixes of past tracks as well as new material with an emphasis on the ‘dubplate’ cutting culture of days gone past that we feel has been missing across more recent years as part of what was once a very vinyl / acetate led scene. The vinyl format itself will play an important role, with exclusive ‘dubplate only’ tracks featured per release in the series, all pressed on a strictly limited, one time only x 300 press without any release specific artwork, to retain an air of mystery to every new release.

The second in the series shines the spotlight on label stalwart Survival and his most recent SCAR moniker alongside Script, a duo causing untold carnage since their inception earlier this year. Kicking off with a solo encounter, Survival brings us the mighty Dub Soldier VIP. Reworked especially for Outlook Festival where the Dispatch imprint hosts a stage on an annual basis, the VIP of this already powerful track tore the Dispatch stage and Boat Party to absolute shreds on first play, with a specialist touch of amen chops creating added hysteria to the original. It’s a strong follow up to an original that has received support from Friction on BBC Radio 1 as well as appearing on UKF’s channel with over 150’000 plays in total to date.

With a new take on the title track of their first Dispatch EP, “Call To Arms VIP” will be available exclusively on vinyl for this release. If “Call To Arms” was beast in itself, then the VIP is it’s psychopathic twin brother pushed to the edge of sanity, with twisted textures and slurring mid ranges. Topping off the release is a new SCAR track, entitled “Do You Love”. A dark and deadly soundtrack defines the intro; a thrilling cinematic opener, before tightly programmed drums instill an infectious groove to the core.

The album has been fully mixed down again and re-mastered in Nov 2014. None of the material on this USB album release has ever been made available on vinyl / digital or any other format anywhere else.
