In all my years of listening to music I’ve never heard a selector of his calibre, his ability to seek out the most sublime music never ceases to amaze me.  

He’ll be kicking off proceedings on the courtyard playing 2 until 4pm, easing us in with some of the most earole pleasing sounds you’ve ever had the chance to treat your eardrums to, pure terrace vibes!

I’ve not known this young man long but the first time I heard him play it immediately made me sit up and notice.  

His selections and musical style are more often than not dark and ominous, but with an infectious groove and supreme attention to detail.  his mixing is seamless and carried out with a surgeons precision.  

This small set, is a taster of what is to be expected a little later on in the proceedings when we start to up the ante is definitely not for the faint hearted.  

Expect heads down music for the heads.  This man means business.

Pete Berry is a musical behemoth, he started buying vinyl at the tender age of just 10 years old,  collecting early Electro Hip Hop.  

In 1988 he was introduced to Acid House by his older brother and the rest as they say is history.  In the early 90’s as House evolved Pete was captivated by the US House scene, and made the annual pilgrimage to NYC record shops.  He honed his craft DJing in Essex nightclubs before moving on to hosting parties at Ministry Of Sound, Bagleys and The Complex.  

Mr Berry is warming us up on the courtyard on the 6th playing 4 - 6pm, here is a small sample of what to expect from this veritable walking encyclopedia of house.
