We start the weekend off with a bang today, as we welcome the most excellent Under Black Helmet to soundtrack our Friday as he contributes to our Global Mix series.

The Lithtuanian DJ and producer Under Black Helmet is no stranger to our shores, featuring regularly for Dublin based club night and label, Research over the years.

Having moved to London in 2011 and being inspired by the local scene, he started producing techno and has remained faithful to the genre ever since. A protegee of Moerbeck’s expanding Code Is Law platform, the artist’s surge into the shadowy realm of dance music was further supported by Bas Mooy's MORD label, helping him to showcase his productions for the world to see.

He has established himself in today’s techno scene as a force to be reckoned with, playing at monumental parties and clubs around the world, alongside the likes of Dax J, Phase Fatale, Stanislav Tolkachev, Jeff Mills and Rebekah week in week out, while releasing some of our favourite techno records in the process.

We are absolutely delighted to welcome Under Black Helmet to our Global Mix series, as he delivers a meticulous and hypnotic hour of rolling techno.

@scalameriya is a Serbian dj, producer and sound designer known for his flashy mixing skills, eccentric productions and menacing synth design. The combination of leaping into the world of techno at the age of 13 and having an obsessive personality lead to extensive practice-sessions and the development of impressive dexterity in djing. As difficult as growing up in Serbia has been, that experience gave him the necessary focus to dive deep into production and find refuge while creating his distinctive style of techno.

Scalameriya, written “Skalamerija” in Serbian, is a word used to describe any unfamiliar-looking device of an unknown or even non-existing purpose, function or origin. This became a concept that is reflected in the structure of his productions and dj-techniques. Often described as hard and aggressive, he claims that his sound is heavy and intimidating, insisting that those are similar, but divergent aesthetics. Scalameriya's individuality and militaristic work-discipline have proven to be prolific as his records can be found in catalogues of some of the most important record-labels.

Both as a dj and producer, Nikola demonstrates that he is an unstoppable force, delivering performances and soundtracks that are leaving behind lasting impressions all around the world.

On 22 November KHIDI is proud to host the first official international HEX with a distinguished lineup featuring the artist incognito SNTS; the young and talented Dutch artist Tim Tama; KHIDI’s own resident Leon Lolishvili aka Boyd Schidt, and Lorenzo Raganzini and Paolo Ferrar aka PØLI, the two founders of HEX.
HEX is a techno movement originating from Barcelona which since 2014 runs a series of underground events, the first of such kind in the city.

Founder of @tenebrismrecordss and Resident of @eerstecommunie, LVTL  is contributing Voxnox Podcast 076! She gets her inspiration mainly from her personal experience as she told us:  "What would I like to hear myself on a sweaty rave? It has to be rolling, dynamic, fast, industrial and sexy. Elements that I always try to use in my sets."  Sounds like a plan! This ride takes us back to Amsterdam's warehouse raves we miss so much!
