Our first premiere of the week comes from the emerging techno star, Shannen Blessing, as the talented young Irish DJ and producer provides us with her debut track 'J015M' to premiere this afternoon.

While relatively new to the Irish techno scene, making her debut in March of 2019, Shannen has progressed rapidly in Dublin and Ireland, supporting international techno DJs such as Lag, Introversion, Inhalt Der Nacht and Parallx.

Currently studying DJ techniques and music production in BIFE, with Doug Cooney, Sunil Sharpe and DeFeKT as mentors, it’s little surprise that we once again see another exciting young talent taking on the Irish techno scene with the confidence and skill set to match.

During lockdown Shannen has been busy sharpening her production skills, busy in the studio, culminating in an electric debut release which we premiere today. 

Expect an industrial, rolling techno track with arpeggiated bleeps making hypnotic undercurrents throughout which will no doubt fit in well in any DJs bag. You can listen to Shannen's track 'J0I5M' below, plus download the track for free via our SoundCloud page.

Irish DJ and producer Cailín needs little to no introduction right now, having gone from strength to strength in the last few years, with club shows and festival appearances up and down the country, abroad and of course her two incredible sets on the world famous Boiler Room platform.

After putting down an impressive year of releases in 2021 and being hotly tipped by techno Don, Dave Clarke as one to watch, Cailín kicks the new year off with a remix for Rotterdam label boss Michele Mausi on his [R]3volution Records imprint, which is due to be released on 31st of Jan as a Beatport Exclusive. Today we're lucky to premiere her remix of  Michele Mausi's 'Solipsism'.

[R]3volution Records plays host to a large back catalogue of producers including Vil, Kaiser, Yan Cook, Oliver Roseman and Jonas Kopp to name a few, and has a ton of exciting new releases on the way, including an EP from Cailín later this year. 

This is the third in the series of [R]3mix EPs from the label boss, featuring 9 tracks from a ton of heavyweight techno producers. Cailín contributes a gritty and intense peak time thumper in her remix of 'Solipsism', featuring sonic rave stabs, sirens and plenty of kicks that will kill it on any dance floor. 

You can check out Cailín remix below, plus keep an eye out for the Beatport Exclusive on January 31st, ahead of it's general release on most platforms on the 14th of February.

We have a special Sunday premiere this week from two of Ireland's fast rising DJs and producers, MAV666 and Shannen Blessing, as the pair join forces to release their track, 'Gone Girl'. 

The Irish dance music scene has been absolutely hopping and two DJs who are frequent players on the circuit are Shannen Blessing and MAV666. Both have taken the scene by storm supporting the best international techno acts at clubs and festivals nationwide, as well as playing headline shows themselves. 

MAV666 has quickly risen through the techno rans in Ireland, having played countless headline shows across the country, supporting the likes of Tommy Holohan, SPFDJ and Wallis. Accompany this with a slew of festival appearances that include TIME4DANCE, Outset, Higher Vision and Life Festival. 

Shannen Blessing has quickly garnered a name for herself within the Irish techno scene also. Sharp DJ skills and a mature ear for selecting records have helped Shannen receive some high profile gigs since her club debut in 2019. She has shared the stage with techno heavyweights such as Narciss, Lag, Introversion, Inhalt Der Nacht and Parallx to name but a few, along with playing every festival and headlining countless club shows up and down the county. On top of this, she's become a frequent face on the Hör Berlin platform, further establishing her name as one-to watch.

The pairs technical skills and fondness for mixing the older style of loopy techno with newer electronic sounds and samples comes through in their productions. 'Gone Girl' is a heavy hitter from the get-go offering a cavernous backdrop to the cleverly sampled "I beat that boy with a bat', taken from the popular track by Ayesha Erotica, 'Nasty', turning it on its head completely.
