The precocious talent that is Ed:It is back on CIA, with four new slappers for ya lugholes. We’re always happy to have young Ed on the label, and it was about time for his next outing with us—but he’s really outdone himself this time with his brand new ‘Engines EP’. 

Since ‘The Keep EP’ in 2023, it’s been impossible to keep Ed:It down, as he’s hit relentlessly with a slew of heaters on a who’s who of top labels. He still stays true to the sound and vibe he’s always had, but the levelling up on the studio skills is always immediately evident in his recent work.

The latest instalment in Sustance's growing collection of EPs, Shogun Audio is excited to present the producer's latest body of work. Featuring first-time collaborations and superb solo cuts, the Bristol-based 174BPM specialist delivers some of his best and most innovative music to date on the 'Cycles' EP. 

Carrying on his ever-impressive streak of writing productions perfect for an array of dance music's most exciting vocal talents, 'Out The Storm' with Salo and 'Cycles', featuring IYAMAH's distinct toplines, see Sustance take his crisp, rolling, and sub-heavy sounds to new heights. On the heavier side of the project, 'That's Right', a collaboration with future star Para, and 'DMF', Sustance goes all in on the minimal, murky, hard-hitting side of the genre. 

From his 'Error Mod' EP on Shogun's sister label SGN:LTD back in 2019 to this latest 'Cycles' EP six years later, Sustance has firmly established himself as one of drum and bass' slickest producers and one who sounds right at home on Shogun Audio.

Prominent Austrian drum and bass producers Akov and IAMDOOMED will be names known to many, creating waves throughout the scene with their razor-sharp production and high-energy output for many years. 

Akov cites Octane & DLR’s “Method in the Madness” as the album that got him into drum and bass, so it is a pleasure to present his debut Dispatch Recordings release. Akov explores the deeper end of his influences across two-tracks, including a collaboration with IAMDOOMED, an artist who has been developing a unique sonic identity since moving away from his previous neuro roots. 

The epic atmospherics of “Sabotage” contrast with a huge, rolling bassline, creating an infectious groove that rides throughout. “Catalyst” packs huge kicks and tough snares for a hard-stepping trip through warping bass and filtered sonics.
