Mella Dee has always been someone who knows how to bang it, both in the club and with his productions. His new imprint, Warehouse Music, is a new home for his output and the first EP received support from the biggest in the game, with selectors like The Black Madonna, Daniel Avery, Alan Fitzpatrick and Gerd Janson regularly drawing for it.

He's just about to drop 002 and you can expect more of the high-octane, heavy-hitting same. Today's premiere is 'Take It' and the disco roller just gets bigger and bigger. We're expecting this one to do the rounds, so make sure you get on it first. Check it out below

'Warehouse Music' is the new imprint bought to you by London based DJ and producer Mella Dee.

The second offering is a tough but soulful reflection of Mella's stomping grounds in South Yorkshire where he was inspired by sounds coming out of Warehouses. The A places the rough and ready ‘Take It’ alongside a stripped back, percussive and driving ‘Woodlands’. On the flip, a more experimental acid tinged roller ‘Paul & Shark’.

WM002 is pressed to neon pink vinyl with a bespoke hand-stamp design of the infamous Doncaster Warehouse.

The Belfast based DJ & producer, Garry McCartney, otherwise known as EJECA, has been steadily and consistently building his sound and profile over time, through a series of impressive releases for Aus Music, Unknown To The Unknown, W&O Street Tracks, BPitch Control and Last Night On Earth, amongst others.  

‘The Crystal Maze’ EP is EJECA’s latest offering for Richy Ahmed’s Four Thirty Two label, and comes backed with a rave rollicking Special Request remix.

EJECA carves out an energetic slab of audacious party house on ‘Unloving’, resplendent with rolling beats and stabby chords, and topped off with dramatic strings and vocal chops.  Paul Woolford dons his Special Request guise for the remix; skippy breakbeats, spinbacks, plenty of horns and a thunderous bottom end that is sure to devastate any speaker stack when this one drops!

Elsewhere on the EP, EJECA unleashes some 303 bassline action and dark vocals on ‘Standard Acid House Track’, which thankfully rises well above anything standard!  And on ‘Crystal Maze’, EJECA harks back to the darker dance energies that were a staple of the late 1980s UK acid house boom.  Wrapping up the EP, ‘ISWHATIS’ gets ever so slightly twisted with an orbiting synth hook and weighty stabs over a spirited rhythm section.
