This song is quite naked, not a lot of layers to it in terms of production, basic drum beat with heavy guitar effects and very little in terms of vocal effects. I wanted the vocals to be as raw as possible to give them a fragile feel.

"Fox and the Fire" is the combination of the two pseudonyms I used when first creating my music, those names were "Sergeant Me Hugh and Who" and "the Fox and the Fire."
I felt that the two "bands" I had created were becoming too similar as my music style began to take shape taking the rock style from "Sergeant" and the electronic style from "Fox." Many people knew that I was behind both of them so I felt the need to bring them together as one.
