I've been getting into folk stuff a lot the past year and trying to incorporate it into my sound. Somewhere along the road these fun, energetic tunes started to emerge, so here's one of them!

i hope you folks enjoy these sounds and words that I jumbled together. i'm really glad to share this with everyone finally, in spite of all the imperfections that i've slowly learned to accept along the way. songwriting has also been a very enriching process. words are such a powerful tool for making sense of things.

I made this tune last year when I was going through a lot of transitions (moving out, starting a new job etc)and there was a strange permanence to it all. I've started to realise that nothing can ever be like it used to, and so I find myself mourning what I had before but celebrating what might come next. It's a bittersweet feeling, and I tried to capture it here.
