The Premonition and It's Raining Somewhere Else replacements are contextually drastically different from how they're usually used.

Grillby and Muffet share a building in the suburbs. Muffet uses it as a pastry parlor during the day, and Grillby uses it as a bar 'n grill at night. This song in particular is used when the building functions as a pastry parlor, and plays when Grillby takes Frisk there as a treat.

While going through a comedy club as a shortcut, the gang accidentally find themselves face to face with Remotimer and have to make a mad dash through the backstage area of the club to get to the other side. Things don't quite go as planned but you'll see it when it happens.

This has genuinely been like, a half-a-year-long personal project lmao. The original sketch for the song was made in April and I didn't really get far, which sucked cuz I REALLY wanted to try my hand at a DR "field" theme. Only after Toby Fox dropped all those scrapped songs in the Anniversary newsletter did I feel confident enough to tackle finishing it. (Seeing another artist's early passes is weirdly inspiring, in a paradoxical way...)

This Bad Boy™'s tricked out with all the UTSC classics you've come to expect: those slide-y Turtles in Time orchestra hits, zero-release bass pianos, vibraphones, flanged guitars, the My Funky Town saxophone, the whole nine yards. There's lots of tonal inspiration from other fan-made Chapter 3 area themes present, but I also (as with all hip-hop-adjacent songs I make) took inspiration from Sonic Before/After the Sequel's OSTs because I will never get enough of those soundtracks.

It's not perfect, but I'm super proud of how this song turned out despite how busy life's been (music's been reduced to taking up a fraction of my spare time due to Uni, but I'll manage c̶r̶i̶n̶g̶e̶ ̶a̶s̶ ̶h̶e̶l̶l̶ ̶b̶u̶t̶ ̶i̶ ̶w̶o̶n̶d̶e̶r̶ ̶i̶f̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶h̶o̶w̶ ̶A̶s̶r̶i̶e̶l̶ ̶f̶e̶e̶l̶s̶ ̶L̶M̶A̶O̶). It turned out so nicely that I even decided to throw the FLP out there!! just 'cause :D

i want to say thank you as well. thanks to everyone for listening thus far. this project has had its ups and downs over the past 5 years. would i want to do something like this again in the future? maybe! i do have a few other AU ideas of my own, including a deltarune and yellow equivalent for this one! (deltahive and fm!understuck: hope respectively)

also if anyone wants to make a take on what a "swap" or a "shift" or whatever other kind of AU combo for this one, feel free! the whole cast of characters is in the previous upload.

i still have a few more tracks to make and then post before the au is done. after all, undertale had 3 main routes, yeah? >:3c
