2022 was the year I finally felt like things started coming together for me as a DJ. I had live gigs almost every month and Mr. EyesLee's Playground hit a healthy balance of guests and solo streams in its second year. Even so, I felt overwhelmed and like an impostor at times, with the voices in my head alternating praise and punishment. Looking back on it all, listening back to those voices, and reliving those experiences, brought me to create Breaking Through, an hour long vocal liquid dnb mix with intermingling lyrics which often sing together (but sometimes sing apart). Raw, pure, and emblematic of a new level of self-confidence as a DJ.
