This photograph is my great-grandmother, born in 1890. she lived in our home my entire childhood up to age 14 in 1968 when she died of a bad heart. I have spent so many hours staring at her baby pictures while imagining her life. She became a stunning woman and gradually became the Nana I knew. We go through so many physical changes in our lives but we feel like we are the same person inside. She lost three babies, each at age six months to SIDS - Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.  Such heartache she went through. She loved each of them for six months and woke up one morning to their unexplained death. I never knew until I was grown. Eventually, most people became only a name on the back of a photograph. Since everything now is digital we are losing even that to pass on. I have my great grandmother's original baby pictures. My family today is unaware of these photographs. At one time I tried to create interest in family but I failed.  So it is up to me to remember. She was such a beautiful baby. My love to you Edith May Brown Ferden. I dedicate this music to you.

I have only one hope, it is that after this nightmare the world will change its economic system based essentially on overproduction and virtual finance. I hope that we devote our efforts to save this poor planet and therefore humanity.
I dedicate this modest song to all victims of covid19 around the world with a special thought for our severely impacted Italian friends.
Je n'ai qu'un espoir, c'est qu'après ce cauchemar le monde changera  son système économique basé essentiellement sur la surproduction et la finance virtuelle. J'espère que nous consacrons nos efforts à sauver cette pauvre planète et par conséquent l'humanité.
Je dédie cette modeste chanson à toutes les victimes du covid19 du monde entier avec une pensée particulière pour nos amis italiens rudement impactés.

Un titre une nouvelle fois inspiré des événements liés à ce 
satané virus. Mais avec une lueur d'espoir qui commence à poindre. Je me mets à penser à ce premier jour de déconfinement. Je me réjouis déjà de revoir les rues, les terrasses des cafés et des restaurants bondés de monde et de la joie que cela va nous procurer.
Mais en attendant ce beau jour, il faut absolument rester confiné et surtout soutenir toutes ces personnes qui oeuvrent avec courage et dévotion pour nous.

A title once again inspired by the events linked to this damn virus. But with a glimmer of hope that begins to dawn. I start to think about this first day of deconfinement. I am already looking forward to seeing the streets, the terraces of cafes and restaurants crowded with people and the joy it will bring us.
But while waiting for this beautiful day, it is absolutely necessary to remain confined and especially to support all these people who work with courage and devotion for us.
