I recorded three different versions of this track and thought rather than remix it for this page i would put on the first version i wrote and recorded i hope you enjoy it

Enchanted - Paploviante 2020 🌞🌞🌞

One topic of interest I am perennially attracted to 
is the study of consciousness.
I imagine that we all become aware of our universe 
on many planes of existence,
such that our individual physical bodies 
are but a momentary fluctuation of that awareness.

A recurring concept is one of always being 
on the threshold of a waking dream.
In building this composition, 
I was also reminded of the title of a song
written by one of my favorite masters, Johann Sebastian Bach:
“Wachet Auf”, or in English, “Wake Up”.
Alternatively, we have also called it “Sleepers Awaken”.

I wanted to create some new (to my ears) instruments,
that would seem to evoke a sense 
of just coming into that wakeful state,
and picking up on the theme of Bach’s melody, 
just as the song is ending.

I also wanted to try to alter the chords somewhat
to generate a set of harmonics,
which might correspond to that same mood of wakefulness.

In searching for an image for this composition,
this photograph, which seems so like a painting,
left me feeling unsure whether I was seeing reality or illusion.

I am absolutely overwhelmed by the gratitude in which thommo and Lisa (Skyline Tigers) have shown me through
some of the most trying times in my life.  i had a Hip replacement just 3 month’s ago Feb 6th 2020
after trying my Batman skills down some concrete steps. I always knew he couldn’t fly. I am 
also awaiting a spine operation in due course. This will the my third Op in under 2 years and my second
spine op. First was for Spinal stenosis.

thommo asked me if he could do a remix on the track. I don’t believe I could ever refuse that request! 
I have always loved his work and together we have 3 tracks between us. I am eternally grateful to such 
great people as thommo and Lisa.

Back then, I met some fantastic people, and we spent nearly half a decade playing music and organizing events together. One of the people I met was known in-game as Lithia (who, coincidentally, turned out to be Norwegian). Lithia was a genuine, fun person, and although I don’t know where she is now, this song brings back memories of those great times. It’s a musical tribute to honor that era and Lithia

I played (wrote) the chord-sequence when I was a teen on an organ and it never left me ... so, this is another more modern interpretation of the tones I heard in the 80s ... 
Did most of the arps with the new Arturia Keystep Pro ... cool keyboard! 303 hand programmed of course :)
