Based around an acoustic riff, the song is about how a wave can be the start, or the end of something, and maybe a chance to start again. Produced by Shael Wrinch at Stone Hill studios on Bowen Island, B.C. Chris Herbsen on vocals, Shael doing harmonies and more of that great slide guitar.

Strange how things sometimes come together .....picked up my Taylor acoustic guitar this evening (which I hadn't played for a while) and this DADGAD instrumental just happened to click into shape... so I decided to record it straight away. The folk bluesy feel of this takes me back to my youth when I first listened to my inspiration to learn the guitar ... the late great Bert Jansch.... It would be nice to think he would enjoy listening to this and I hope you like it too!

The original idea for this emerged from a single dream. I don't dream about the story all that often, but in the last 5 weeks, I most certainly have.

I use a complete hybrid of organic & electronic sounds within the scope of the Taffeta project. Nothing is out of the question and no limits are set on how things may evolve one way or another.

This is a two-guitar version of a song I wrote for my 2nd daughter, Joanna and collaborated with Curtis Gremmel who takes the lead.  His playing adds a whole other dimension to the track. For those curious; Curtis' ten fingers are left center in the mix, my ten fingers are right center.
