Empty Streets

400 years ago, the samurai Hasekura and his men arrived in Seville sent by the Emperor of Japan to investigate Western customs.

They settled in a small town near Seville called Coria where they mixed with the native population, having offspring.

They sent emissaries to Japan after years to report to the emperor, but the vast majority of them lived and died there.

Since Japanese names are difficult for Spanish to pronounce, the Spanish inhabitants decided to change the names of those people to the name "Japan".

There are currently hundreds of people with that surname in Coria, but the characteristics are completely Caucasian.

Some years ago Prince Naruhito visited Seville and interviewed them.

Now there is a small park with cherry trees in this small town.

I apologize for the improper use that I may have made with the Koto (It is the first time I have used this instrument).

In the United States, habitual offender law (commonly referred to as three-strikes laws) were first implemented on March 7, 1994, and are part of the United States Justice Department's Anti-Violence Strategy. These laws require both a severe violent felony and two other previous convictions to serve a mandatory life sentence in prison. The purpose of the laws is to drastically increase the punishment of those convicted of more than two serious crimes.

Twenty-eight states have some form of a "three-strikes" law. A person accused under such laws is referred to in a few states (notably Connecticut and Kansas) as a "persistent offender", while Missouri uses the unique term "prior and persistent offender". In most jurisdictions, only crimes at the felony level qualify as serious offenses; however, misdemeanor and/or wobbler offenses can qualify for application of the three-strikes law in California, whose harsh application has been the subject of controversy.

The three-strikes law significantly increases the prison sentences of persons convicted of a felony who have been previously convicted of two or more violent crimes or serious felonies, and limits the ability of these offenders to receive a punishment other than a life sentence.

After close to 4 months of silence... I bring you my latest creation. All recorded at the cottage by the lake in my time off work. Been really busy with life!
This is a song about first loves. It is a consensus (well almost) that our first love is , most of the time, unforgettable. We experience deep love, a connection with another at a deep level for the first time. I am very grateful to have had the best first love in my teens. Someone very special indeed. All those memories will follow me till i die! 
 Here is the text, not in specific order as to how i recorded it, but how i wrote it originally.
