We are continually late and trying to beat the clock 
while trying to get from one place to the next.
Technology has done a pretty good job of reducing our transit time.
In imagining how to musically depict the sensation of getting up to speed,
I wondered at what techniques might be possible...
AND
...How might it be done without changing the tempo in the least?
It eventually dawned on me that nothing new had to be invented,
because we have all experienced this...maybe without even noticing it.
Going from Legato to Stacatto, 
and to packing more and shorter duration notes into each measure,
then cranking up the pitch into a higher key...to add just a dash of tension.

After we found grandma’s belonging and her souvenirs in an old wood trunk, we found Grandpa’s safe. Thank god, Grandpa had the bad habit of using his birthday date as a combination and password on his Commodore 64. We expected to find some old money, a nice leather photo album of his adventures in the deep see and the fish he captured in the Caribbean Sea with his friend Charlie Walton, which we never met by the way. However, we did not expect to find this insurance policy on grandpa’s life and the recipient of the insurance being Charlotte Walton.

A song I recorded with my high school band way back in 76. Lead guitar and drums by my dear friends Michael and Frank who both passed away at a young age. Bass by Tony.
For those who do not recognize the image, it's a 45. LOL
We recorded this with our hard earned cash at a local RCA studio. We had a blast.
