Letter of James Class # 4 (last class)

Well I wasn't going to record Malagueña for my Flamencolele album but, then my friend and student David Jones requested it, so here it is.
A little back story on this one. About 20 years ago I had the good fortune of seeing Sonny Rollins in concert. At one point in the evening, the great saxophonist, starts playing the opening bar to St. Thomas, his most famous tune. The crowd goes crazy! And, that's it. After 8 bars of St. Thomas he changes tunes and never comes back, leaving the audience scratching their heads. 
Hilarious!  
So it's in that spirit that I present Maui-gueña. It includes the famous Malagueña melody at three points. Two are fairly obvious and one is a little tricky to find. And thanks to David Jones for the fun title. Hope you like it! 
And for bonus points, what meter is it in?
