Inkerman Street is a project that takes solo instruments ( often from sound checks, rehearsals or outtakes from studio recording) and explore swhat happens when you strip away their most recognisable character and see what can be created. Instruments are subject to heavy effects treatment to create work far removed from whats normally associated with their function. The work asks whether something always remains from the source, is their something in the very essence of an instrument that is always present, or is it possible to use an instrument as a base tool to create music completely free of its origin ? This 2nd track features Double Bass, played by me badly : )

I'm a big fan of road trips and they occasionally inspire a track. There's something about the open road and finding places to explore and hike. 
This track started with the juicy synth and then collected several of my guitars on the way. I went for a major scale on this one.
