The Sonic Loom series continues with TROMO, who is giving us a taste of his 2022 live set, in the heart of the festival season. Athenian Yiannis S. aka Tromo has shown great interest in music and music production from a very young age, studied guitar and synthesizer, and after experimenting with various rock and metal bands, he was convinced that music is his calling. Around 1997, Yiannis discovered the magic in electronic sounds and psytrance music by going to parties and festivals around Greece and Europe. Influenced by the Psychedelic Trance scene, in 2007 he created the Tromo project and released his first track on Mighty Quinn Records. In 2011 he joined Sonic Loom and continued experimenting with his unique sound and atmosphere. In the process of creating and exploring, two side projects were born "Quadraphonic" with Antonymous and "OhmInside" with Drury Nevil. Presently he is in full productive & creative mode and upon releasing his debut album concentrates on his solo and side projects.

In the newest episode of Bom Shanka series, K.I.M. is prsenting his brand new project, KRYPTONE.

Krypton was never born… his IKEA flat-pack fell off the back of a tractor and was discovered by the members of ABBA in an abandoned ice-hockey rink. The band adopted him and raised him as the 5th member, until they realised he was stealing all their drugs at which point (circa 1985) they sold him to George Michael, who had more than enough drugs to go around. Then, in 1987 after losing Faith in George’s musical direction, he took a vow of silence and hitch-hiked his way back to Sweden. There he joined a hippy polar bear family and lived on rainbow trout and Amanita Muscaria until his winter home inside a hollowed-out tree trunk was discovered accidentally by Sir David Attenborough. Sir David gave him a cracked copy of Logic and some killa kick drums and taught him the ways of Psy-Trance production.

Our next Release Tease is TSUBI's DJ mix of his soon to be released compilation on Future Music Records, titled Various Techniques For Getting Lost.

Getting lost is sometimes like finding your way. As you let sounds guide you into unchartered realms of your mind, you can discover spaces you didn’t even know you were looking for ... There are various ways to get lost, these are some of the techniques I explored.
Future Music Records delivers to you a fresh, 9-track compilation by DJ Tsubi, selected from some of his recent favourite artists.

Tsubi has been an active member of the Hungarian psy scene since the 2000's. He has been a resident DJ of the Avatar party series since the very beginning and also at O.Z.O.R.A. Festival, where he also plays a big role in program organizing and managing the festival's web radio. In the past years he has played at all the noteworthy local psytrance events, in many European countries, and has also been invited to perform in Japan, India, Israel and Brazil. From the mega summer festivals besides O.Z.O.R.A. he has blasted the dancefloors of Boom, Sonica, Glade, Full Moon and S.U.N. festivals too.
More recently, he and Dr Space have launched their own party series, Labirhythm, presenting the artists and music that stand close to their heart to the Budapest audience.
As regards his style, Tsubi loves and is able to move among a really wide spectrum of sounds, he is relentless (and unwavering) in his search for the most contemporary soundscapes and the most unique tracks. With his two other projects, TSB and Tsu, his focus is on downtempo and techno, respectively.
