As a former part of a duo project, Lueking could already gather some experience and reputation. He can count several gigs in Berlin, Germany and also Europe-wide to his references. Among others clubs and festivals like Watergate, Sisyphos, Ritter Butzke, Salon zur wilden Renate, Waagenbau, Bahnwärter Thiel, Wurzelfestival, Feel Festival, just to name a few. Now he concentrates on his solo project, which he revived in 2022. 

Musically, he moves between melodic techno and progressive house, though he doesn't want to commit to either genre. His sound could be described as raw and deep but multi-faceted and melancholic. His debut release after relaunching his project was in May with Georg Arnim on the label Parquet Recordings. After that in June a single with Vincent Marlice on YION. Bio:
Holger, alias Holle's spectrum includes both tech and deep house. Even disco influences can be found in his sets. With his mixes he captivates listeners and presents them with what is special about the music. When he felt the energy of the music for the first time in the Dresden club "Showboxx", it was clear to him that he would like to radiate it himself later. So he became a DJ and ambassador for electronic sounds and gained a lot of experience at house parties and various events. In addition to his own Soundcloud profile, he runs a podcast series called “Estetik Cast”. He delivers a set every month on his own site and is always up to date. Monotunes? These are the two guys with that driving, deep sound. The DJ duo is less than two years old in this line-up and yet their musical language is already loud and clear. The story started with no less an event than the after show of the Pollerwiesen Festival in 2015 where Dortmund HipHop veteran Nils was to play his first electronic gig quite unexpectedly. Of course, Soulmate Philo had even more experience and endless buck at his side with lots of beer. A fat set and a dance floor full of enthusiastic people later, the Monotunes 2.0 were born. Since then the guys have been working meticulously on their sound. Producing podcasts, mixtapes and songs – sometimes in pairs, sometimes with support from their large musical network and using every free second they don’t spend with job or family. With his passion for ever new hardware, techno junkie Nils provides the tools that, together with Philos‘ many years of experience and creativity, form the perfect basis for the monotunes sound.
