Hailing from Germany, His passion for playing electronic music began in 2001 with a friend and today's DJ colleagues. In the beginning it was the hard monotonous techno sounds that he loved, later the enthusiasm for melodic techno came more and more.John decided to move to the Canary Islands in 2007. Inspired by the island he founded his project Sonne, Strand und Meer in 2015 to give more attention to the music he loves and lives.

The bright light at the end of the tunnel, the rewarding feel of relief after phases of tension, the rising morning sun on a festival dance floor that you enjoy with your loved ones - all those feelings could have been the blueprints for the main track on Riepshoff & Suchopar's new EP “Sunrise On The Fields Of Sorrow”. Accompanied by a laid back beat, beautiful synth chords with a lot of attention to detail in sound design define the perception of this EP. A bit of international flair is brought to the table by Talking Machines from Brazil, an artist whose productions are equally loved by both parts of R&S and who generously contributed an excellent Electronica-style remix. A second remix by Elvis Sabani, an aspiring producer from R&S's local area completes the package. The second track of the EP, “The Tale Of Anniroc & Ydna" is a more uplifting tune with a beautiful piano melody hidden in an old dirty Fender Rhodes. It describes important parts of Suchopar's personal journey in life and is therefore a truly emotional piece of original music.

Grown up in Mainz, Germany, Alex has found his passion for music quite early. Starting with the piano he has decided to swap it for two record players and a mixing console at the age of 15. 
In 2013 Alex has met Marcel and it soon turned out that they are sharing more than just the same employer. The joy and passion for electronical sounds was the reason for starting to engage in music intensely again.

Outside of Frankfurt’s club scene the two DJs got well-established especially on SoundCloud. None other than famous SOLOMUN (DIYNAMIC) has supported the boys and played their track „Darwin“ on big festivals like BPM in Mexico. „Darwin“ was released in March 2017 on the label JEAHMON!

Four Hands first release "Springfield EP" on Hover Mind in July 2019 is just one homage to playful synthesizers. The Remix Version of Springfield by ANMA reached #3 in the Beatport Melodic House & Techno HYPE Charts and #38 in the Beatport Melodic House & Techno Overall Charts. The Springfield EP reached #33 in the Beatport Melodic House & Techno Releases / Alben Charts.

The second release in 2019 has also entered the Beatport Top100. Their track Scorpio on their Redemption EP on ALETHEIA RECORDINGS reached #11 in the Beatport Progressive House HYPE Charts and #50 in the Beatport Progressive House Overall Charts.
The Redemption EP reached #24 in the Beatport Progressive House Releases / Alben Charts.
 
Recently another big project has been launched in April 2019 - VERSPIELT Musik by Four Hands has hosted successfully its first club event on June 21st in Dora Brilliant Frankfurt (Tanzhaus West) with amazing artists like ARTBAT, Musumeci and local starlet Carla Casanova.
 
In 2020 the project VERSPIELT will also become a Record Label based in Frankfurt am Main / Germany. The first EP is called Modulate containing the tracks Modulate and Reminisce and will be out on 13th of March.

Bio:
Already in the 90s Doncler developed a deep passion for music. At the young age of seven he started creating his own Hip Hop mixtapes. With the release of Wutang Clan's Album "Enter the Wutang Clan" Doncler discovered the art of scratching. After saving up enough money, he got his hands on the legendary "Technics 1210".In the late 90s Doncler had become serious with a DJ career in turntablism. Shortly after he won his first DJ Battles in Germany.As of 2001, with the release of of DJ Bad Boy Bill's Mixtape "Banging the Box 5", Doncler fell in love with Electronic Music.From that moment on, he produced a variety of Mixtapes under different aliases with an europe-wide audience.In 2010 the transformation of Electro House into comercial EDM was under its way. Doncler could no longer identify with the music and ceased putting out music.Six years later, in 2016, he resumed his passion for music but this time as a fully fledged producer. After experimenting a while in order to figure out his own fresh sound, Doncler celebrated his comeback with the release of his song "Systematic". He sees himself on a turning point of his career as producing music is the next level and thus wants to reach out to a broader audience.

The current crazy situation that we find ourselves at the moment has had massive consequences over the world. One result is that many of the key players in our little Phnom Penh scene find themselves scattered over the globe.
Currently our good friend MOUDY (https://soundcloud.com/moudy) is around 8,000km away in The Lebanon -  far away geographically, but close in our hearts. 
He's very kindly supplied us with a mix - aptly entitled "Chasing a mirage", it reflects the confusion we all find ourselves in this unprecedented time for our planet.
Musically, its classic MOUDY - subtly melancholic, but always uplifting with tribal beats that summoned up visions (for us) of Bedouin travelling through the desert - searching for some kind of truth in the wilderness.
