Josh is near and dear to us here at The Rust under his Smigonaut moniker, and David’s reputation precedes him as the mind behind Asteroids and Earthquakes, so it should come as no surprise that we’re incredibly excited to host the premier of their first minted EP for our 92nd release. Hippie Trail

This mix is by far my favourite I have recorded for a long time. Being on the beautiful nest stage on Saturday night at Future Forest was insanely dreamy. I poured my heart and soul into this mix, at the time I broke my ankle a couple weeks before and had lot's of time to perfect this mix to what sounds good in my mind, I also performed with a broken ankle. I find this mix to be a rollercoaster ride of emotions from the lightest loving melodies to the darkest bass lines. It starts out with someone falling in love and just having the best time of their lives and grooving with the jazzy bit's then it falls out into the darkness and get's gross and awkward for a bit then falls right back into the love of finding yourself being happy with who you are in the cosmos. I really like getting groovy, heavy, weird, and different in this one. I hope your body and ears enjoy this hour and a half of me at the nest just giving it everything I got :)

I had a great time going full alien mode at the Cottage the other night for my bass brothers bday. This mix is full of some unreleased stuff from myself and ton's of lowend bass frequencies. I tried to move this whole party into a space realm of the deep sillies and many giggles thru the power of sub bass and confusion. I hope your ears and body enjoy this mix :)

This is my live recording from Kollektiv XIV that just happened last weekend. I shaved off most of my beard at the start of this set and that gave me a huge energy boost.
